This guy was wrong when he referred to a reputable provider using the "W" name in another post, but he should still not be personally attacked. Doing so just makes you look bad.

I expect that the threads are displayed in the order of "time updated" versus "time the thread started". The way it is now, is idiotic to say the least.

Please use your brains if you have it; Mine was posted immediately too.... You are an idiot!

At least I'm a positive person and try to get along with people...

Did you ever understand what I said in my original post before you posted?

I am not an asshole, but I do have one. I pity you since you do not have one, you spit/cry/puke/belch shit all the time!

Oh yea, now I remember.  The bitter guy with the little wallet...

I humbly offer an apology to the gentleman in question and to all.  I'll endeavor to withold my umbrage in the future.

honestly, I like how the TER boards are organized.  I think it helps keep the conversation fresh.  I've seen other boards where the same stale topic rises to the top of the list over and over again, just because someone with too much time on his/her hands wants to chime in.

BTW, just because someone doesn't understand your post doesn't make him/her an idiot.

The biggest thing I miss on how this board is organized is an ability to flag threads I'm interested in - so I can have the darn komputer software monitor them and not have to do it myself. And to tell you the truth, it would be kind of nice to be able to flag individual posters as contributers worth reading (or completely ignoring).

This is a good observation. Quite a few chat boards provide that feature. It all depends on the software you use. The problem that TER has, in my opinion, is that it is too wide-spread across so many locations that it is not easy to change the software/upgrade easily without disrupting the service for a while.

I beg to disagree. You can always find out what the fresh thread is by looking at the time stamp of the first post of the thread; however, it is not easy to figure out whether any thread has been updated easily.

As far as your second comment, I do agree as well. I had to be rude to get her off of my tail and I will continue to do so if she persists in posting after me and not on topic.

most of the other discussion forums I've visited, it is only the date-stamp of the most recent post, not the original post that is available.

My 2nd point, you agree?!?  You're not acting like it!!!

OK, I realize that I am a very kind person, with experience in education, Informing someone of where they have assumed wrong, is alot more kind, and appropriate than pursuing a verbal war.

I did not say what I wanted to say; most of the other chat boards are natural. If I were logged in all the time, I would like to see the latest post, ireespective of the thread it was posted to. I do not like the newest thread to take priority over the older threads like TER.

On the other hand, if there are features built in to follow the threads I could select to be my favorites, then I agree with you.

As to your other comment, I am NICER to nice people; and RUDER to rude people.
