I've noticed a trend the last few months that a few well-known posters are repeatedly posting about agency girls--multiple times per week.

Then the agency has a prompt thank you and always adds more glowing words about the girl.

There was a recent discussion about independent ladies posting trivial posts just to keep their names and links in the public eye.

The cynic in me is now wondering if the agencies are giving certain posters free or discounted sessions in exchange for good posts here on TER.

Anyone else notice the same trend?

I probably shouldnt even reply to someone who doesnt have the guts to roll this BS out under a "real" handle. But having started I'll go on...

I've never recieved (or asked for) a free session from ANY provider. Historically I prefer indies over agencies and if you look back the majority of my posts "recommending" a gal are indies. HOWEVER, ever since TLC stepped up the nature of the landscape here is changing and overall the agencies have "raised the bar" and often provide a level of service equal to and occasionally better then any but the best indies in town.

So where do you get off throwing rocks at folks who had a wonderful time and want to tell others...especially since you either contibute nothing of value yourself or feel the need to "hide"...

The "Cynic" in me is wondering if your simply a horses ass or have your own ax to grind?

I have no clue if the original client's getting any other perks than what inspired them to post their initial thank you.

However, TER is, by my understanding, a site dedicated to promoting this hobby/activity/service. From my perspective (as a newb that hasn't actually partaken yet) I've come to expect that a message of "I had a great time with..." is followed by either the agency or indie posting a picture for reference and a blurb.

I personally prefer it when it's an indie so I get to see a bit of the character of the woman in question. Is this blatant shilling or just a good business practice following through with an opportunity? That's your own opinion, but if you don't expect some degree of 'shilling' (to use your term) on this site, what are you doing here? What do you expect of this place? As long as it doesn't devolve into Craig's List, hey, I'm happy with the content here so far.



(If anyone's curious, this isn't an alias; I'm a guy with no reviews, no experience, and no VIP, that stumbled upon the site and has become fascinated with the "sub-culture" here. There are a few ladies that I've been curious about, but without references, I'll never get to share their time with. No, it's not worth it to me for a couple of 'stepping stone' encounters to experience my curiosity and see if this 'hobby' would sustain my interest. Oh, and I'm from San Diego too. Mya invaded that board, I invaded this one. )

The Cynic in me wonders if you specifically did not say you have received a DISCOUNTED (not free) session from a provider or agency in exchange for a good review or two.

I have never recieved a discount of any kind in return for posting a "good" review" or for comments here on the BBS. Do I have "VIP" rates with various agencies and indies...you betcha I do. The same "discounts" are available to anyone who meets certain criteria....as an example some folks will give a "discount" for just saying you saw it on TER (or another board). I certainly dont get any "special treatment"....just the type of service a good client in any business hopes do get. Again its obvious you have an AX to grind. So either or a total twit....or you belong on CL....certainly not here...

It's not as if any "handle" used on here is a real name.  Ok, so what if Bill Clinton posted once.. he doesn't count!

But seriously, so often I see this typical animosity toward people who post an opinion and they immediately get slammed!!  It's obvious how there are always follow-up posts by the agency "staff", but is that a bad thing or just good business savvy?  I dunno.  It's a tough business out there and lots of cumpetition for a relatively limited client base.  I once was told by a now retired provider, that the truth is that only a small percentage of clients actually are generated by TER.  Is this true?  speak up, providers.  I'm curious.

Otherwise, grow up peeps.  Let opinions be exxxpressed without all these reprisals.  or is it the desert heat??

If you need a refresher, jerko, this is a board for hobbyists to post their opinions and information.  My recent post of an Agency Lady, Calli, was simply giving this Board some information, just as posts I have done for several great independents, like Nikki Avalon in Vegas and MJ and Isabella Amore here, were both insightful and informative.

Little secret. The internet is the primary form of advertising for this biz. And since everything posted is for entertainment purposes only, what does it matter.

If you are right, who cares. If you are wrong, who cares. The key is to know some of the folks, see the girls that you like based on your knowledge of the guys "like you", and enjoy life.

How girls advetise, as independants or through an agency, "ain't" no biggee.

Does preferential treatment exist? Read the newspaper, watch CNN, of course it does silly. In every business model "favors" are done for great customers.

Do all the guys that post get special treatment? Of course not silly. Some do. Some don't. But that is for indy's and agency girls.

If you cannot attack the post, attack the poster! His point is very valid. There is way too much shilling and advertising going on here lately. I thought the rule was once a week. I also thought that reviews were to be done in the review area, not the message boards.

Being fairly new to the hobby, and with so many amazing women here in PHX, I welcome any and all opinions and information....

Here is my experience regarding clients generated by TER.  While in San Diego, about 85% of the hits on my site came from TER.  I did not advertise anywhere while in San Diego.  I would say that easily 98% of my clientel came from TER.  Since moving to Tucson, my first week was sooo dismal, I took out an ad on Eros...have had HUGE response.  So it appears that a particular region can change things dramatically......

I agree, who cares what handle one uses?  Or how much anyone beats a drum to get business...it's NOT personal.....

Why is the "handle" important...because the regulars do have an acquired identity here. When someone slams another thru an alias its bush league.

The BBS posts "it" is referring to are all solid straight up 411 from real customers. Nothing more nothing less...

As a TER member from S.D. who will be visiting your fine city in a couple of weeks I find the posts from azhacker and Jeffery to be informative and to have saved me research time.  Thanks for the help!

"His" point isn't valid at all, its just a slam on some undeserving folks. None of these are self posts or "paid" advertising. You ask the guy who paid to see Calli for TWELVE hours Thursday if the folks (myself included) who've raved about her are wrong.

You show me one post from Jeffery, Modprod or usedcardog (just looking at other "thread starters" on current page) thats not 100% right on...

I'm damm glad that guys are taking the time to put out some 411 they PAID for so I (or someone else) doesnt blow $400 on a bad experience.

As for Tina Pink, well lets say that dog got my attention....gaurantee next time she runs a special I'll be in line for a "lube and fluid change"

I believe him. Thats the value of the BBS. I'm sure lots of "us" have questions about various providers and we can be reluctant to venture into uncharted waters. I have the benifit of knowing alot of the players on both sides....but many don't and rely totally on this board or others like it. Quality 411 from unbiased sources can go along way in helping for good choices....

IF they are attacking others who are providing information & reviews. Remember this isnt a thread regarding agency posting. Its a thread accusing some folks of violating both the TOS and "spirit" of the board. So yes both the thread and the poster are worthless in my book....

contact info. the amount of schilling, ass kissing,and "I lub you booing" that goes on in any public forum like this precludes it from any real useful function other than communication between the clients and provider who are interested in "lub you booing"
back channels are still somewhat useful as long as they havent been coopted by well meaning hobbiests who include their all time fave in the list....
most useful is someone you know personally and thus have some basis for trusting their judgement.

I do not think the original post was an attack, it was an observation. An observation I too have noticed. It seems that the boards are being used more and more for advertising/bragging/pimping, and less for information. Reviews should be done in the reviews section. Discussion on the discussion area. His point is valid, and I agree with it.

and if the original poster posted under his/her "real" handle so would "it"....

I was in Phoenix last week and announced that I would be there, but really got a very luke warm response.  It was freakin HOT last week though so that could be a factor.  I did meet a couple of very nice Phoenicians though, and will be back shortly....  I have two girlfriends there that I need to do some shopping with......    Maybe we can work something out soon.  Lunch, dessert, dinner, breakfast....Yummmmmm!

I really do not think that the original poster should be slammed for voicing his concern.  I use TER as the core source of my research for this hobby.  I will admit that the original poster could have phrased his question a lot better but that is no excuse for everyone to jump all over him about it.

If it were true that people were getting discounted or free sessions I would like to know about it.  I think that his concern is not without merit and was in need of being addressed.  For those in question (people who post good things about an experience they had a few days ago) should simply respond back with the truth.  They can politely tell the original poster that you do not receive any compensation or special treatment for your posts.  There is no reason to get hostile for someone to ask the community to disclose this information.  

In my own personal opinion, I think that the posts about how you had a great time with a provider should be kept to the reviews section of the site (isn't that what it is there for anyway?)  I don't mind it that much to complain about it but it seems like this board has been flooded with these types of posts.  Therefore, this original post is not without merit and it only benefits the community for those involved to step forward and disclose their relationships with the agencies/providers that they post about.

The bottom line is that I think everyone is over reacting to this post.  It almost makes me wonder if someone does have something to hide.  If they didn't, they would not be jumping all over an alias with zero reviews and no credibility.

Just my 2 cents.

P.S. I do not post reviews of any providers and never will.  I really don't give much weighting to the experiences that other hobbyists have.  I use TER to make sure the providers are legit.  So don't attack my alias for having no reviews either.

I used to live in Phoenix and still travel there once in a while. This board is alot different then it was 3 years ago. Although there are positives, it seems like I have to continually sift through all the (as you put it)
"advertising/bragging/pimping" to find those well thought-out posts. Nothing disappoints me more then an interesting thread being pushed off the first page quicker because of what I refer to as "board flirting".

I'm not saying I don't occassionally post a positive message on a board about a provider, but I try to reserve the important details for the review section.

our we adults? let ter decide what to post. i never post on the boards, and have not done reviews, but i have seen a few lovely ladies thanks to ter, and reviews. some of you take this hobby thing a little to far, remember it's a hobby. alot of stupid posts are made on the board with no regards to the hobby. it does not bother me, i just wanted to post my opinion on this matter.  

some people just need to act there age.

I never said anything nasty. I'm agreeing with the observation of others. The word "pimping" was originally chosen by coyotefan. There may have been some "edge" to his post but he did a good job of explaining how some of us see the Phoenix board these days.
