The new guy blues

When I was in the hobby, I had eventually found one provider whom I had good chemistry with (hard to find) and saw about once per month, which is the way I liked it - but alas, she is nowhere to be found.  I popped in briefly to the fundraising party in January - introduced myself to a few ladies (Mya, Angelina, Sabrina, who introduced me to Taylor, and a few others who are "under the radar.)  My recent attempts to re-enter the hobby after about a 3+ year absence (and about 4 months of reading the boards) have been unsuccessful.  

I tried contacting two of the most popular providers who are my "type", one of whom is independent and simply does not respond to email timely enough to set up an appointment a week in advance or answer the phone; and the other with an agency that, contrary to posts and reviews to the contrary, does NOT provide incall.  So on Friday afternoon I headed off to see a lady at a MP who recently received a good review, but found that the review was completely bogus.  (But at least the MP was honest and did not rip me off.)

I won't mention specific names, as I can understand why a provider does not want to see anyone who is, for all practical purposes, new to the hobby.  Also, I would not doubt it if their regular clientele kept them busy enough not to bother with new clients.  However, it seems that things have really changed alot over the last 3 years.
