Geeeeze, All the drama. Seems this board thrives on BS. I've tried since the beginning of the year to be a positive poster and to stay away from the petty jelousy that goes on and on and on here. After reading what has transpired the last few days i've decided to Not "take the bait" any longer. Attack, Lie, Spin a story about me, I wont defend myself, have at it. I'm in a very positive state of mine and intend to stay there, so I think it's time to enjoy the people of this board in a more positive manner and am hoping many feel the same way. Let's party and get to know one another a little more this year. The March "meet and greet" should be a great kickstart to a more balanced year. Hope to meet many new faces and personalities again this time.

and there's a whole lot of it out there! Getting together with friends and sharing a good time is a whole lot more fun. LOL

As a regular reader of this board (and LA's, where I travel frequently) and a relative newbie to the hobby, (one encounter in Phoenix and 2 in LA) I must say that the previous thread and this line have caused me to be concerned as to the relative safety of hobbying in Phoenix.
    First, let me say that I don't care at all who owns or has an interest in what agency.  Anyone who is swayed by a single review of a specific provider or agency should have his head examined.      
   What I do care about is that all this sniping, accusations of "dual identities" (how James Bondish), and backbiting has left me concerned whether or not "going public", such as attending fundraisers or get togethers, which I would like to do, is wise for the casual hobbyist concerned about safety or privacy given the negative attitudes expressed towards certain members of this community. Can casual hobbyists attempt to join the "inner circle" without compromising their safety?

No kidding......must be nice to have nothing better to do and live the life of the self-proclaimed "King of the Board" !!!

the sniping idiots usually stay home and plan their next snipe while the fun lovers get together and have a good time getting to know each other. I think you'd enjoy the people at the get togethers and have a good time too

Hobbying, at its basics, is all about managing risk, isn't it?

How far "in" you wish to be need not be determined by how far "out" you are willing to be on public boards. Associate with like minded individuals in a small, low key community all you like-no prerequisite that one need become a celebrity to enjoy the lifestyle.

As the saying goes, it's all about the...(rhymes with spoon, sans the first letter, in case that word is inappropriate to say on the board).

The casual, under the radar, discrete hobbyist has nothing whatsoever to fear with regard to attending public functions, fundraisers, what have you.

And if you DO decide to stick your head out far enough and become a rock star, at least it comes as no surprise when there's always people looking to knock you down or take you out. That's human nature. I, for one, prefer to leave the consequence of fame to the famous...or infamous...to worry about.

But hey, what's life without a little excitement, right?
That's what the hobby is all about, not all the blah blah.

So I'll shut up now. Spoon ON!

Fantastic fun loving people go to these events. There will be many in attendance and all there are coming out for the same thing.

Just curious, what are you going to do that is longer than life?
