I feel much more comfortable making initial contact with a Provider using email.  I guess I just don't want to take up a lot of their time with questions that are not answered in their listings or Websites, and they can answer me at their convenience.  So, a question for Providers… Which do you prefer for initial contact, telephone or email?

Personally, I do Enjoy answering questions and getting to know the person first by Email, However when it comes down to confirming an appt, I prefer that by phone, because Emails get lost, and it is just more comforting to me knowing that I have heard a voice saying "I'll be there", instead of reading an email from someone I haven't yet seen. However after getting together a time or 2, I have No problem making and confirming an appt by Email.

BUT..... if someone is wanting to make a Short Notice appt. The Phone is MUCH MUCH more Prefered. I do not sit at my computer all Day and Night long to be able to make short notice appts by Email. It is one of my Pet Peeves when I get an Email (Especially from someone I have seen Several times) at say 5pm. asking if he can come over at 6pm and I do not get the email until Say 8pm. and that person never even tries to reach me by phone. That is just "Bovine Scatology" to me.

E-MAIL first!!

I have a hard time answering questions over the phone. A lot of times I may have a family member with me or a friend and if that is the case then I would have a really hard time saying much of anything. It may seem like I am cold at times but really I am not once you meet me you know that.

I like email first because I've found that most people give me more info about themselves and their interests in them. A lot of gentlemen who are newer at this tell me that they feel more comfortable with the email to break the ice. I'm comfortable with either and prefer phone for short notice appointments. (I also like IM's (Yahoo) too.)

We love both!  My phone operators are absolutely awesome and they can help you out either way!  They work every day from 10am til ??am and always answer their emails promptly.  If they don't know the answer, they ask me and we figure it out for you ASAP.
Shoot them an email at [email protected] or give them a call at 480-282-8585 and they'll be sure to help you out in any way they can!

Either one works for me.  Email is great for initial questions.  The phone is always available and I try to answer it ever time it rings.

Followed with a phone call prior to meeting is my preference.

that is my comfort level before I feel that I connect with someone. I also express myself better in writing.  Is that weird?

Nope, at least writing something down 1st, gives you a chance to think about what you say. I know I almost always have 2nd thoughts after opening my mouth, lol.
