Clearly, you arenot keeping up with this discusion board while you are away.  Go back a few months and you will find enough drama to fill a season long series of mini soap operas known as "As the Hobbyist Turns".
For better or worse, people are a bit gunshy of expressing strong opinions right now, as too many have taken umbrage with every perceived slight.  Perhaps a new year will usher in a sense of community spirit.  If nothing else, Rose's Toys for Tots get together might start the healing.

This board is lacking something, or maybe it’s me. Maybe I’m missing something. Now, I'm not sure exactly what this missing thing is, but I believe the people in the States, refer to it as character, or inspiration, or creativity.

All the posts seem so short and lacking in something.  Most of them are just simple allocades from a client to a provider-or visa versa. Its “thanks for a great hour”; and, then, after that there’s a hearty “I hope we can get together again, soon”. It just seems to me like there is something missing. There should be something more than these “wham bam” posts.

Now, maybe I haven’t completely assimilated into the Arizona, Phoenix, and Tucson culture, and there actually is a depth or passion to this board that I am unable to comprehend…  I just don’t know…

Truly, I do not what to offend anyone, but this board seems dead, dead to the world. I travel and I come back; and then I travel again, but still, whatever it is that is missing, is just not there. Over these holidays, let’s try and get some feeling into this community…

Hmmm, a Toys for Tots get together to start the HEALING? Is it really that bad? Is it that serious? Are the wounds so deep?

Enough drama to last for a whole season of bad soaps about "caring providers" and "gracious and grateful hobbyist" would surely drive many of the faithful underground- where they'd wallow in a dank, dark pit of fear and umbrage. In the wild west of the air waves, they would just plot and plot and plot….

Is LE involved? Are they out there on the fringes; lurking in the shadows? Really, now! A Toy for Tots get together, just might convince all those who doubt the quality and character of the "big hearted" providers, hobbyist and others who contribute to the flavor and the economic dynamics of the escort business way out here in the far reaches of the “Wild, Wild West” (Does anybody out there remember that one?).

"Gun-shy" is a very appropriate term and so is "spaghetti western". They show those things in the friendly parts of the Middle East all the time. They are very, very popular. Do any of "you all" remember Miss Kitty, from the old T.V. series Gun Smoke? Now, she ran a saloon, back in the days when nice ladies didn't run saloons. And, I was always wondering what went on up stairs. In those day women had it so tough. No equality at all; so, what’s a poor, lonely girl to do? (Especially one from an abusive family.) But, whatever went on up stairs in the Long Branch, it never seemed to bother that big old hunk of a law man, Marshal Dillion, but poor old Miss Kitty seemed bothered. Did you notice she seemed to drink too much? Now, Matt Dillion, there was a lurker, there was a law man. Did you ever she the barrel on his six gun! Now, that was a dead psychological give away. He was obviously over compensating for his inabilities in other areas. No wonder the poor women drank, and no wonder these westerns are so popular with Moslems….Anyway, may you all have a wonderful holiday season. Let the Healing begin.

Yea, you are right a lot of thanks you's nothing wrong with that...The problem here in Phoenix, is unless you are in a special group, you can post all you want and never get any responses except negativity...So I agree maybe the holiday spirit and a new year will bring people together....

As one who carries passion by the bucket it is not for lack of inspiration or desire that my posts are brief or restrained.  The thugs on this board who with their malicious brass knuckle tactics and cartel driven agenda have set the scene for this play.  It is a battlefield and one miss placed step can make you the subject of some rather harsh and inequitable treatment.  Most I believe are licking their wounds or navigating this minefield in a very cautious manor lest they became victims too.

Thugs are cowards and bullies. They are ego-centric. They are self-serving. They are weak.

Thugs are psychological cripples who prey on the lonely and less fortunate. Inside, thugs are unhappy and unfulfilled. They lead pathetic and morbid lives. Again, thugs can be loud mouth, boisterous cowards, but inside they are weak, weak, weak.

They create misery and evil, they are evil personified.

I wish I knew these thugs personally. Hmmm, where do they live? Where do they work? (Assuming any of them has actually done any "real" work.) As I mentioned in my last post, just how--may I ask--do these useless thugs positively facilitate the economic dynamics of this community. Who do they help?

Now, listen up, all you cowboys and cowgirls. To label these malingering moochers a cartel is just too high falut’n. You can bet your bottom dollar they live off the misery of others. They contribute to that misery and they have a vested interest in maintaining that status quo. I hope all my root’n, toot’n pardoners out here in this wild western part of the great United States of America know that’s its time to form a pawsey, circle the wagons and saddle up and move on out. The thugs are on the retreat; so, let’s do whatever it takes and run them out of Dodge. Happy Holidays! I know its going to be great!!!

Sorry, no pawsies (?)--or pauseys or posseys or whatever, but I've always been intrigued by the way the sheriff was able to deputize the common folk and then they'd all mount up on their trusty steeds and ride off after the varmints. They’d inevitably catch them and throw them behind bars, where they would await a fair and just trail.

Now, the intriguing part is this: there is no royalty involved, no third cousins of the Sheik anywhere around, and the trial and sentences are actually fair and just. The judge is impartial and the sentences never involve stoning, or beheadings or public mutilations or lashings carried out by family members to save face and find favor with Allah. And, where is the Mullah and his Koran who continually berates the godless infidel? Hmm, yes siree Bob, things are different here in the States. So, lets mount-up and ride-out at sunset. You can ride old Paint and bring you banjo-and, if you like, the Sons of the Pioneers; and, I’ll be  a sit’n proud a top my sacred, beautiful white thoroughbred camel Cleo (she's a lady camel); where I'll be a straddl’n her hump and ready to wheeled my mighty scimitar with the proper amount of judicious Christian discretion. Let’s move’em out, cow pokes, Insha’Allah
