Fellow TER ladies & gents.  I'm looking to buy a 2nd home as an investment property in the Pheonix area.  I've only been to Pheonix a few times.  What are some of the "good" areas to look for homes?  What are areas to avoid?  I've heard Scottdale is good.  What about areas like Chandler & Gilbert?  Any information would be great.  Thanks.

The surprise is Surprise, AZ. Arguably the fastest growing area in the Valley. Some great deals to be had in the Rancho Gabriella development. Many price ranges to choose from. Be cautioned that Valley developers are very cautious about out of state buyers/investors.
