I guess the market isn't really there for male providers, especially if they're straight, so the price is lower to entice women who may not otherwise pay, to pay. That's my guess. Though I did [virtually] know a male escort in Canada who had a higher hourly rate than I. He didn't do it full time because the business wasn't there, but he did have business.

My vote would be for for #5. As Megan said, women can always find a guy with little to no effort and in the 1 in a 100 case were they just want someone right now, they are just as picky (if not more so) as us guys. Also it is much more difficult for a guy. A guy must have interest in the women in order for the equipment to function properly - it's hard to fake hard.

Woman are not thinking about sex 24/7 like men are.  Plus when we do feel the urge, yes usually we can find whatever we want - for free.

If I have to vote, I'll pick #5.  I think the real reason is the X vs. Y factor.  Women have two compete X Chmomosomes, men only have one X and a tiny-not-many-genes-on-it Y chromosome.  I hate to admit it, but women are genetically supeior to us.  Plus, they don't suffer from a know medical condition know as PSB (Painful Sperm Buildup).

Women want something to show for their $400 . . .
