Re:quit taking things out of context
Without trying to get in the middle here, there are possibly a number of persons who regularly read this board, live in or frequent the area and enjoy the hobby. That we are not quite as open as Danny or other frequent contributors does not mean we are lesser mortals, are not interested in the community, or should be chastised for expressing concerns.
Frankly, I was looking forward to the meet and greet until the sudden post by Danny warning of dire consequences by a still unnamed person. I wonder what the purpose of that message was other than to unnerve those of us who can't be quite as public.
I was also a bit surprised at the venom directed towards Danny who appears to have the best interests of the hobbyist in mind. I don't understand why his interest in an agency (if true) somehow changes that observation. I share the opinion of those that have suggested that future meet and greets should be backchanneled in some fashion to keep the event low key. I am still hoping to attend this function at least to say hello.
Please stop sending me e-mails. For those of you who want to come to The Penthouse Club this Thursday evening please do. The only thing different is we will all be subject to the cover charge fee at the door instead of free entry. Take McDowell Rd. to 24th drive and go north to the club. Hope to see some new faces and old as well. See ya all around 6:30. Theres a raised platform at the back of the club as you enter, this is where the meet and great will take place.

Interesting. So those of us not a member of "our group", or those of us who had/have concerns are "pussies?" Is that what you are saying? Interesting.
First we were "Chicken Littles", now we're "pussies." I say "we" because I'm not a member of "our group"; in fact, I'm not a member of any "group", just a guy who enjoys the fantastic women I have met through this hobby. The ones who are non-judgemental, who always treat me with respect, who always show me a hell of a good time.
I'm not against having a party; I'm not for it either. I really don't care. But to start labeling people because they have concerns and voice those concerns is kinda sad.

If you "don't care" stay off the thread. The "group" that is refered to is the TER bunch. So lets not be paranoid and move on!
That post was just one more example of the paranoid PUSSIES out there who get their panties in a bunch over the silliest of things and take things all out of context half of the time! LOL

Great point! I am not interested in your group either and I don't consider myself a "chicken little" and "pussies" is over the top. Although, I don't really mind "pussies" that much because the old saying goes, "you are what you eat". There are definately some fantastic ladies in this community. Some I have met and some yet to meet and all have been great, very non-judgemental, and fun. I too am not against having your party or am neither for it. Personally, I am tired of reading about your so to be party. Have it, shut the f*** up, and move on. Furthermore, I wouldn't want someone with your type of attitude 2kneadme.

Thanks Danny... I just love our group/community/people on TER and when I see total BS I call it as I see it. When you try to get us together to socialize it should be a simple choice for all... either attend or don't attend. Why do some people have the undying need to try to throw a wet blanket on it? There's no reason for you to be getting emails with concerns about LE. It's not like you're planning an orgy! (Hmmm... make a note on that.) It's just plain silly that you should have to provide reassurance to people just to get them to come out and have a few drinks and laughs in a public venue.
Chicken Littles, pussies, wet blankets, kill joys, cry babies, whiners, malcontents, drama queens or just plain party poopers... if the shoe fits wear it and don't think that I'll be broken hearted if you don't like me for calling it like it is. LOL
but I'm working to 8:00PM in S.E. Chandler and I live in N.W. Mesa.
Hopefully one of these days, I'll be able to attend one.
