Hey Dingus, The thread by Tina and Donna got me thinking … Could the TER include the ability to comment on reviews to the review pages? It would be good for providers to rebut ‘false’ reviews in the sunshine of open discussion. The reviewer could always refute the rebuttal. Also it would allow agencies to comment on changes or actions taken in light of substandard service from associates. Other hobbyists can comment that certain services are not in fact offered such that fellow hobbyists can more accurately choose their companions. I think all three of these scenarios are relatively common and present the three of the biggest challenges to maintaining a useful community forum. From a ‘fairness’ standpoint I find it disconcerting that reviewers can place comments into the public record without rebuttal or critique. We have that ability on the discussion boards, but the discussion boards are very transient. If moderation is a problem, the comments could be filtered through the local moderator prior to posting.
Then, every bad review would have an explanation after it.
If a reviewer does 10 good reviews then 1 negative, it was probably deserved. If a reviewer has 5 reviews and they're all negative, then the problem is with the reviewer. That's all the info anyone needs to know.
