At one time I was on this quest. I was greatly disappointed when I finally got what I was looking for. I will not speak for everbody but it added nothing to my experiance.

Most dont know how to use it, but when you find one who does watch out

I experienced it once, merely by coincidence-I wasn't looking. I noticed it was there but did not find it spectacular.

I have experienced quite a few with pierced tongues. If they know how to use it and are good orally in the first place it can add a little to the experience. If they don't have a clue it can end up hurting a little and if they do nothing different it can end up being that you don't even notice except during DFK. Personally it really doesn't make any difference to me.
Now the really funky one is the split forked tongue and they can move each half indipendently (it's down right freaky). Any chic that has gone to this level has usually got lot's of body modification. The chic I was with that had it also had pointed ears and prostetic veneres on the teeth for vampire fangs along with a tattoo sleeve and a mural on the back not too mention a boat load of piercings. She wasn't a traditional provider but a stripper who occassionally made a little extra cash. Yes the teeth left marks on the neck. She wasn't a GFE but VE or GE (Vampire Experience or Goth Experience).

if they know how to use the piercing correctly its awesome, especially if its a flattened one. if they dont they may as well take it out since its presence doesnt mean anything.

This was in LA about 6-7 years ago. There was a stripper at Le Girls a few years ago that had a split tongue but I don't know if she ever provided any services outside of the club.

The split tongue thing sounds interesting, but your description has me saying "Holy shit!" to the rest of the vampire type experience.  Your adventures range far and wide.

Does anyone have any providers that they'd feel comfortable recommending?  

Or are there any providers out there that feel they are properly 'trained' with this hardware?
