I noticed some lovely ladies only do outcall. My problem is I live in a studio apartment. I do have a futon, but it's very hard to open & close. Does anyone have any sugestions? Besides getting a room (I don't want to pay for all day and only use it an hour or so).

Before I started doing incall, I sometimes would meet up with guys and go to Social Clubs. Club Chameleon is a good suggestion. I realize it isn't that glamorous but at least you can sit and socialize, do some dancing, play pool or darts and still have fun all on the same bill, and the bill is even more reasonable on a week night, and its less crowded then too.
But maybe you should treat yourself to a nice hotel room for a night, one with a in room jacuzzi, The Marriott Courtyards have good deals, or even the Inn Suites. Think of it as a mini vacation.
Sounds like you need an hrly room, but most of the ladies that I know of don't go to "those types of hotels", for safety reasons of course. Maybe you should try and hook up with an incall provider and just save yourself the "room fee". You could always come in and see me, the location I work at is very private and you are well removed from the street traffic, so no one will see your car. Can't help you on the outcall place, but have you concidered and Aero-bed? Buy a set of sheets that fit it and use it over the futon. It's small enough when deflated not to take up much room in the apartment and it's cheaper than hotels.
