You payed for something and got nothing in return. First tell her your intentions and then do it. Give her a chance to make it right before you do the damage. Yes to all.
I would like to hear from both Providers and Hobbiests, please. Your opinion as to the appropriate course of action based on the below scenario would be greatly appreciated. Scenario: A hobbiest advances funds in good faith to a Provider with the understanding that the provider will pay back the advance based on a specific number of appointments. However, the provider time and time again does not show up for the sceduled appointments. She is sweet as pie and always has an excuse and always wants to make it up. It is obvious that the hobbiest has been ripped off. 1. Should the hobbiest broadcast this situation across the boards? 2. Should the hobbiest contact each website where the Provider posts her profile? 3. Every time there is an inquiry about the provider on the boards should the hobbiest let the inquirer know of the experience? Yes to some of these? Yes to all? No to some? No to all? Thanks for your thoughts and opinions.

When you loan money to someone always be prepared not to be paid back. A fool and his money.......... I'll bet there were also some strings attached - chalk it up to experience and get on with life - SWSWSWN
the person posting before me. Sounds to me like you are getting the "stall" from this lady. I would give her the opportunity to make it right and if she doesn't in a reasonable period of time, then I would suggest you "out" her on this board as well as other boards where gentlemen go to gather information on providers. A definite "yes" to #1 and #3. Doing #2 may be far too much work considering the number of individual sites that a particular provider may have a post at. I would still suggest getting the word out through this board service and others like it though.
Apparently this person has some redeeming qualities that make you hesitant to publicly humiliate her......With that being said, and in the spirit of the approaching new year, chaulk it up to experience! I have given "advances" to providers in the past with "no strings" and been pleasantly suprised a few weeks/month later. It's a tough call.....
