If someone leaves an animal out in the direct sun in arizona they go to jail.
I hope they hang the people responsible for this lady's death there is no excuse at all.

Plain and simple.
But because of who they think she is no one will be punished.

Holding cell at 107 degrees is torture and I am sure that is the intention.

You are right lalalove, the woman's background had absolutely no relevance at all to what has occurred here.  

Those officials need to be made an example of.  But it is very doubtful if they do get jail time that it would equal the amount of time as any civilian that committed the equal crime.  And, they will be protected in custody.  

I have seen first hand some of the crimes that officials committ in jails and prisons.  Including violent murder in a prison in Texas.  Black guy busted having sex with the white woman who worked in a commissary and was married to a white lieutenant.  While leaving the prison that day, inmates were chanting "There's gonna be a killin tonight".  The guy was dead the next day...."he got his neck broke while resisting arrest".  This was 1997.  There are more crimes committed by officials in jails and prisons every day than anyone could ever keep track of.  

What is really sad is recidivism rates drop dramatically when first or even second timers receive 15 months of education (which truly is treatment).  It drops from 75% to 28% according to numerous studies done by many different entities over the course of the last 30 years. With for profit prisons these days, there is no interest in reducing recidivism rates, rather the contrary by some.  I remember sitting in a meeting with a female warden who worked a for profit prison complaining that she did not have enough prisoners to turn a profit.  SICK!!!

I can guarantee who ever was handling this woman really does (or did) look down on her and felt better about themselves by her appearance alone.

I worked in social services for many years including jails and prisons (Maximum Security and Supermax included).  Scores of women doing time for prostitution.  

I never once met a man in prison or who had done 15 yrs or more, who ever knew another man who had been in prison for soliciting women.  Not once!  DC Madam is dead due to her conviction, done of her clients gone to jail, none of the polititions or clergy who have been exposed go to jail.  

PATHETIC!!!

It doesn't make this any better or acceptable, but she really wasn't a provider - she gave hummers for drugs - not what I would call a provider, but as I said, this is unacceptable in any case and some heads should roll.
