OK, I just had a session with a well reviewed provider from one of the well-known and well-respected phoenix agencies.   I need to hear from some of you pros - aren't agency appt's typically an hour, or have I completely misunderstood?  

The young lady was friendly and had excellent skills, but it seemed like a very rushed session.  It was a last minute appointment so I didn't care about her being a few minutes late.  But, from the time she walked in to the time she left it was barely half an hour, including about 10 minutes of her asking my professional opinion (in my area of expertise).   I was extremely surprised that as soon as we finished what I mistakenly thought was round one, she was up and getting dressed.   I suppose I could have asked what she was doing and reminded her about it being an hour appointment, but I was shocked and the mood was kind of killed.

So I guess my question to you all is, did I get hosed over on my appointment or was this pretty standard?  I understand the clock is always on, but half an hour including my professional advice seems pretty short.  I know that I am an unknown commodity around here so I certainly don't want to go stepping on anyone's toes (i.e.  running to the owner sounding like a whiner) to the point that I can't get top tier providers to schedule with me in the future... but what should I do at this point?

I the future when booking ask for full hour and if round 2 would be available, always voice your expectations (within the boundries of the law) and the phone opp will make sure the provider knows your wishes. If it goes wrong after that, by all means tell the agency. Believe it or not some guys want the "quicky" and then want the girls to leave. Just ask ahead of of time and your expectations should be met. Too bad this happened but try again, it gets easier everytime

Sabrina - I apologize if I offended you (and Taylor).  The whole reason I brought this to the board is because I am new to THIS environment, and I was looking for input.   I purposely didn't mention your name or TLC because I didn't want anyone who hasn't seen you to get the wrong idea.   Colleen was wonderful on the phone, you were flexible for agreeing to a last minute appointment, you were absolutely wonderful.   I have no problems whatsoever with the situation, at this point.   Danny gave me the gentle thump upside the head I needed to see things from a different perspective.   I didn't tell you what I wanted, so how could I hold you accountable for what I thought, but didn't say?

Anyway,  please don't stress over this.  You gave me a fantastic session, and a good lesson for the future.  Taylor and Sabrina, by taking the time to respond you have again shown yourselves to be the class of the town.

Always voice your concerns and expectations.  If you don't people "assume" things, especially in that type of atmosphere.  You aren't a whiner and if you don't speak up, no one will know what you want.  An hour is an hour, never less unless the client wishes it so. If she gets the impression that she needed to get in and out of there, she will do it.  If things seem rushed, say "let's slow things down a bit, we've got an entire hour."  That will let her know how to progress and things should go well from there.  ALWAYS voice your thoughts.  And finally, if you don't feel like you are getting the service you deserve, let her know during the session and make it right then and there instead of letting her leave thinking things are ok and you feeling unsatisfied.

TLC and  the lady involved are  class people who are interested in providing  great service.  I know they  appreciate the feedback.  At the start it can be awkward  discussing things and expressing your  wishes to the lady.   Most  are interested and  to want to give you  a fun experience.  It does get easier, it  took me a over year  to figure out that a refill is often  avaialble,  so you maybe  already  ahead of the curve.
