She needs to be outed and banned.

I learned today to never post negative reviews on TER. I posted a review recently that was not so much negative as we just did not click. I mentioned that she was a good value for the services provided but not the GFE that I expected. She contested the review saying among other things that I had never contacted her by e-mail. I sent copies of the e-mails to TER to support my story. TER forwarded the e-mails, my name and e-mail address to this very upset provider. Now I get angry e-mails calling me a "fucking liar" "piece of shit liar" and stating "Fuck you and fuck TER". She says she is reporting me to Cox for harrassment. This provider also choose to vent her anger on CL calling me the same names. I understand that a negative review could hurt her business but I was just trying to be honest. I don't think I was that negative and I think she over-reacted. I don't like pissing anyone off so if I can't give her 8's or 9's, I will keep my mouth shut. So much for honesty on TER.

I have received both good and not so good reviews. But as Heritage stated, bad reviews or lower numbers could be due to not clicking - not necessary bad performance. If you READ my reviews they are all good it is just the numbers that vary. And as we all know not everyone is everyone's type. I actually believe in honestly in reviews. That is what they are for but as we all know the term YMMV - tastes differ and reviews are subjective.
I do not and did not send the threatening emails. You can check with TER and see that it was not me. I ask that before you accuse someone that you get the facts first.
Other providers have posted recently about receiving bad reviews - just check back a few pages and you will see for yourself.
Again, it was NOT me and please do not accuse me of somthing I did not do and can be verified as such.

Thanks Hacker for the apology - it is accepted with love. But please remember in the future to check the facts first BEFORE you accuse someone of wrong doing.
I appreciate that everyone is entitled to their opinions but when you accused me of being "the bitch" AND I AM NOT then you wrongfully hurt my reputation and business.

That sucks. You should be able to just be honest, but politics sneak in. I wonder about the accuracy of some of the reviews for that reason.
It's actually not that different from e-bay. If someone totally screws you over in a transaction and you post negative feedback to warn others, they'll write bad things about you even if you did nothing wrong. Is it worth it to warn others of a bad experience and risk an unwarranted attack?
You can go with the "flow" and get buffaloed....or you can out the gal if needed. I dont let anyone influence any of my reviews. Does it cause an occasional problem....maybe...but truthfully the value of the good reviews offsets it. For every gal that gives you a problem 5 really want someone thats going to post a great review if merited. Trust me, regardless of what some folks think my reviews generate alot of play (along with many others here)....
So you need to make a choice, stand up or roll over....your call.
It's a shame that the girl chose to get angry about a less than stellar review, but, if you what you said was the truth, she has no legal basis to sue for harassment, and it would be a tricky situation anyway. Remember, everything written on here is, by definition, fiction (read the opening page), so it has no legal merit. Additionally, she would have to admit to things I'm sure she would rather not admit in court.

this sort of action on her part isnt to be tolerated. threatening to sue someone over a bad review is pretty flaky imo.
Please if you are going crtize someone then please correct the assumption and clear me. I have not done anything and would appreciate it if you would state so.
I agree that you should post honest reviews and Iwelcome those myself - how else can one improve their services.
But please clear my name and quit making assumptions. You know the old saying when you assume you make an ASS out of U and ME.

After Hacker falsely accused me of being this mean provider I am just trying to make sure that everyone knows that it was not me and that I appreciate and welcome honest reviews.
Whoever she is should NOT have or continue to harrass Heritage or amyone. Can't TER do something about this??? Especially since they are the ones who gave out his emails to her anyway.
Tell it like it is. Be open and honest. You thought you were going to have a GFE based on her advertising and that did not happen. Say why. Communicate the positive and negative aspects of the call. TER is here to help us make decisions. If Hobbyists posted only good reviews that defeats the purpose. Believe it or not the not so positive reviews helps the Providers. It helps them conduct a sanity check. Sometimes people become complacent and a little critique/criticism is a healthy thing (as long as it is honest). I for one say post your review again.
Assuming that your report is accurate and that you have the "facts" to back up your claims about this lady's behavior - no hobbyist should have to tolerate that kind of discourse coming from anyone. Were that directed from one of the guys towards a lady, I would feel the same way. Get her name out here for a couple reasons: (1) I think many would perhaps like to avoid this lady and (2) give her a chance to respond to your allegations.
I'm not sure if Heritage should name names. The hobbyist usually has more to loose than the provider and if she has a mean streak in her, as is the evidence, she can continue to harras him and worse.
Suing someone in the court of law is probably not an option by any stretch of the imagination but there are many other ways she can make life miserable for the guy.
I was the unlucky "shmuck" to be the recipient of some "nasty" rhetoric from one of the "well known" providers on this board - luckily it was private mail, but I would not get within 10 yards of her no matter what type of reviews she's been getting. Luckyly, I got to discover her "mean streak" before I had a chance to see her. I dropped the matter but my friends know all about it and I haven't seen any reviews from them, for this particular provider.
If Heritgage knows any other hobbyists in this community than she will notice a change in her "support" and perhaps wise up or get out of the business all together.

Thank you Bigboy for understanding my trepidation. It is easy to yell "Out her" when you are not involved but I have experienced her "mean streak". I only have 10 posted reviews and only one that is less than complementary in the last recent months. Of course it was not Misty. She is an honest and hardworking provider.
While I understand your trepidation for the resons covered above (and which are very legit), don't kid yourself - she is most probably trashing you back channel anyway with friends and others. Without knowing who the lady is that you have this problem with she, or her friends, could be talking trash to me or others about you using your real name or other (since you posted as an alias) and I/we might not make the connection to this situation.
I appreciate your kind words. I know you and I did not click but if you ever want to come see me again I would love to see you and let's pop that General multiple times!!!

your idenitity will be completly protected have no fears of that. You will be doign a community service as well so think of all the good karma you will be gaining for a quick email.
It's up to a good provider to accept all honest reviews (good or bad) with grace. The good reviews are great for our business but even the 'bad' ones can help our business if we can see something in them that we can improve on.
Sometimes providers and clients just don't 'click' and it's not really anybody's fault. Sometimes someone is just having a bad day and things don't go as well as we'd like. There are a lot of variables that can make or break a session and most reviewers understand that and review accordingly. If a provider has some good reviews and then gets a negative one it doesn't mean she's a bad provider. Most of the time it just means that she wasn't what that client was expecting.
Guys, don't let the fear of 'upsetting' a provider keep you from posting a legitimate review. Reviews are done to help everyone. Just be honest ;o)
This provider must have serious issues or, Very thin skin to get mad about that review. He rated her a 7 for crying out loud.
I was actually one that heard all the hollering threats and screaming the provider did to the other provider that got the other decent review.... I agree.... da broad is a nut case and should soooo NOT be in this business or on this site!!! Or maybe she needs some prozac and midol...??? (2 cents worth from a newbie)
