Happy Thanksgiving. Please let me know if you need any help basting your bird. As you know, it is best to serve your bird when it is warm and succulent. It should be basted every so often to keep it juicy.

Best to start with a bird that is fresh and thoroughly plucked...no feathers or hairs. Some like to present their birds with some sort of adornment...as for me, a small ring just above the cavity works just fine.

I am also available should your need help stuffing your bird.

Have a Happy and Safe Holiday, Sweetheart.

Sweetheart,

I wish I would have known this yesterday but I was at the local shelter helping serving food all day and past out early...lol. A tradition I started 5 years ago with my ex stepson to show him that there were actually people in this world who didn't have all the toys he had, a roof over their head or just a bed to sleep in. Now when he is older he actually drags his dad along doing this every year.

BUT, I will keep this in mind till we meet next time, which will be in January as you know. And as you know as well also, my bird needs to be basted pretty frequently, so keep that thought and we will sure look into it further and explore the possibilities when we meet :)

Talk with you soon :)

xoxo
