I've had to cancel two of my last three sessions with on ofmy ATF's (and she canceled the middle one)...truthfully I'm more concerned about missing from my end since this is how she makes her living. Obviously it depends on both your expectations and the providers. Over the years I'd say I'm 98% and so are the gals...
I have mixed emotions about posting this gripe and will try to be brief as possible in doing so. On four of the last six booking the provider has failed to make her commitment to our schedule time. On all these occasions the on the first call provider requested I call at a specified time so within five minutes plus or minus of the requested time I placed the second call with one of the following results. The provider simply didn’t answer and I leave a message. In other cases she answered, stated she was delayed and I should call back in x minutes, called back when instructed and no answer. Final case multiple calls and delays exceeded my window of availability. In all cases I tried between 30mins up to 90mins from our schedule time to keep the appointment. Needless to say, all very disappointing and frustrating experiences.
I understand this is the real world and things do come up that might alter one’s plans. But my general impression, given the frequency, that this is to be expected. So should we ask the provider when booking about her schedule and potential problems keeping our session, or assume the appointment will occur as scheduled. How long delay should we tolerate without being taken advantage or made to feel foolish.
To belay any follow up posts I know I’m not being specific and it isn’t my intention to be specific with names and dates. Just wondering what other missed sessions are occurring under the radar.
Couldn't tell from your post if your multiple issues were with the same lady or different ones. If the same lady - time to put her on your DO NOT SEE list and move on. TER does not have a mechanism where No Call - No Show behaviors can be reported. You can't write a review on it so the only way we would ever know which providers are prone to this behavior is through posts and threads on the local boards wherein such behavior and provider is identified for all. The guys out there can then elect to take their chances or not in scheduling with that person. As always, before posting a provider's name here, one should give the lady a reasonable opportunity to explain things and/or set matters right. Without the identification of such unfortunate behavior here, multiple guys keep getting stuck in the same lousy situation when they perhaps could have scheduled with a more reliable and professional lady had they the information beforehand.
Every appointment that I've ever set (relatively limited history), has either been excessively late or cancelled OR I had to cancel due to something that's come up. Like a previous post said, if it's one person in particular - add them to the "Do Not Call" list. Otherwise, I kinda chalk that up to stuff happens.
FYI: only made and completed 3 missions - 1st one - hour late and had to change locations. 2nd one - 1.5 hours late, but we were on the phone talking for half of that time, while she was driving. 3rd - 45 minutes late, she got a speeding ticket on the way and no, I didn't ask to see it.

I agree with azhacker stuff does happen. I've also tried setting something up with a provider on several occasions and have had to cancel because of work or some other situation that can't be avoided. Just remember something like this can happen on both ends.
When we pay 200-400 bucks for "professional services" than you'd expect professional behavior. It is unfortunate that some of the providers don't take that attitude.
I've been left holding (my crotch) once or twice and been held up waiting by some of the most popular. I know that I should have called it off due to tardiness but when you're in the mood and no alternatives available than you wait. Certainly making future appointments would make me think twice. I suppose you could tell her upon making the appointment that you have only this window of time open with no fluctuation and perhaps that would make a difference.
I do believe that we will always be waiting for our ladies - pros. or non-pros.! That's life.
