It is time to just say NO.......

Please, don't get me wrong. I have a respect for the fine providers in PHX, especially the indy ladies. But, there is a limit. As prices are going up, there will be less business (or none at all?) from many good regular local hobbyist

It is evident from watching the boards that even the established, quality providers are often  trying to attract more clientele. It never helps your business to alienate the clientele you have, even for the potential of being able to charge more , because it costs much more to replace them than to keep them.

There are lots of other venues to meet people. Ive been using Adult Friend Finder with a lot of success lately . Craigs is nice too irregardless of the bias being shown by certain people.
Then theres always your local parlors (mmmm asians are awesome)

Why restict yourself to just a couple sites worth of possibilities when the world is at your feet?
Now i will grant that many many of those ladies are awesome  one or two make me ache every time i run into them. I hope they all do well.

Theres more ladies in Phoenix than any other place ive ever seen.

You know top dollar in San Antonio is 200?(honestly, i was there for a week for work, pooned every night and dropped maybe a grand) 250 in Houston from what i have gathered on ASPD.

Now this is not either of those cities and i understand that, yet the only places that seem close are Vegas or New york. This aint New York for sure!

Hell the only place i can get a Pizza after 300 am is so god awful i often end up tossing it after giving it a dirty look and wishing i could get some delivery chinese (food lol)

Im not grinding any axes here i simply dont see how the Phoenix standard rate went from where we were 3 years ago (175-250 was top dollar. Dont believe me? i have the old reviews and posts on the channels to prove it conclusively)British Brooke was the top priced at that point (early 2003) now shes firmly in the middle of the pack and her rate hasnt changed a penny.

In all this is a more a lamant than anything concrete. I do want you my fellow hobbiests to know that you can use other sources and hobby more often more cheaply then you could imagine with just a little freethinking and realization that certain groups want you to only go to their sites.

I agree that pricing is out of control.  I too will withhold my donations to those few ATF's who are controlling their pricing to me, grandfathering me in as a long term client.  The newbies charging $400 to $600 are living in a delusional world.  When the season or the economy collapses they will rue the day that the never learned the marketing lesson of client loyalty, repeat business and referrals.

AZHacker, my friend, your call for an economic boycott to influence pricing is so myoptic that even Helen F. Keller can see through it! It is, in a word, the stupidist thing I have read since Bush's last State of the Union address.  What part of supply and demand baffles you so?  Why should "individuals and entities historically friendly to the locals"  look past some who might be viewed as "CHEAP" and then be  questioned for their business acumun?  

I know you didn't study economics so let's try History.  Remember in the early seventies when the US Government sprayed Mexican Pot Farms with Paraquat (whatever it was called) to poison the weed and, thereby, reduce supply to attempt to impact demand?  Did that work?  We just got tainted pot in college and developed an internal supply mechanism.  Oh yeah, THE PRICE WENT UP AND WE STILL GOT TAINTED WEED you dunderhead.  Leave the economic boycotts to the Christian right (remember when they boycotted Disneyworld because Disney recognized gay rights)?  IF YOU WANT TO BE LIKE THEM, SO BE IT.

Perhaps you should look for alternative energy sources and quit bitching about economic certainty.  Maybe you should go back to graduate school and get a better paying job.  Maybe you should do what poor men men do  to get laid--"Get married"  or , if you are already married do it with your wife.  

Be advised, however, that you poorly conceived (apparently a product of your birth) concept of a civil rights-like movement just makes it easier for those of us who prefer the best and don't whine about it to get more and better booking with the creme de la creme.

In the meantime, I have an important issue that I think all grreat thinkers on this Board can rally around.  I AM SICK AND TIRED OF PAYING TOP DOLLAR FOR A ROOM AT THE FOUR SEASONS WHEN I ONLY INTEND ON USING IT FOR TWO OR THREE HOURS!!!  BOYCOTT The Four Seasons until they give hourly rates like those classy places on VanBuren!!!

wow, the local powers that be sought you out and had a hidden agenda all along?  They must have been really concerned about your 2007 hobby budget of 2k. Do Rose a favor, and take your 2k and buy some toys for her charity in Dec. I'm thinking that was really the hidden agenda of the powers that be anyhow.
