This is exactly the concern I raised a few weeks ago. Obviously, there is NOTHING illegal about the meet and greet. To play devil's advocate (lawyers do that a lot), whoever you are referring to may be wondering if a representative of LE will be at the party taking names, pictures, and jotting down license plates out in the parking lot. Is this a true concern or has the pettiness exhibited by others on this board raised the possibility that this will happen out of spite?
It might be helpful to know if after the last meet and greet if anyone observed anyone that raised suspicion or had any contact thereafter that would raise this issue. If not, and if this person won't come forward to explain his/her concerns, does it do any good to publicly mention the issue? I fear the post itself will chill attendance at the party, which I was looking forward to attending.
In the past few day's i've been getting lot's of e-mail reguarding *** and her LE concerns. Seems *** wants to warn everybody she can about LE being there. (don't get me wrong here it may not be ***, but over a dozen people I personaly know have sent e-mail or called telling me of these actions and much more BS that for now I will keep to myself) What are her concerns you may ask? Simply none. Our community " meet and greet" is a public gathering of people meeting people. There is no business being done, just a little drinking and lap dances. There will be many providers and Hobbiest there, If your concerned about petty little rumors simply dont come. Drama queens stay home. This should be a great time based upon the e-mails i've received. Guy's don't worry there will be many ladies present and I know of three agencys that are bringing all their ladies to meet you and many Independants will be there. Instead of *** putting a cloud over this party, maybe she can explain her concerns here on TER in this thread and might want to tell us what is not legal about this "meet and greet". The negative energy being spread around is not good for anyones business and certainly isn't helping our community get together. Ladies, come out and support these marketing events or dont, but please keep the BS to yourselfs.

The person im refering to does not want this party to happen.

The last couple of events no person was observed that raised suspicion. The purpose of the post was to calm the nerves of the many people who were subject to the rumor. This is a rather small community and I truly believe if I remained silent it could have chilled attendance more than my post would.
As stated, the most important thing to remember is CONDUCT NO BUSINESS.. this is supposed to a relaxed, fun, meeting of like-minded individuals... we'll have a GREAT time...DW

it wasn't public "drama" until you posted about it. Of course, this board thrives on this kind of stuff, all the little innuendo without naming names, and I'm just adding to it, as will all the "me toos" to come. Silly me.
It was public just not on this board and I felt it needed an explaination so people are not worried about attending for all the wrong reasons. so shoot me.

I don't know of any providers going to this party except YOUR agency. LE isn't the only concern people are having. Providers don't trust you with good reason.
And don't forget what happened at the public party in Denver. I don't think anyone wants their picture splashed all over the new times.

Might be worth it for me to show, if I knew a lot of independents would be there. I have nothing against agencies, it just seems my dollar goes a little further with the independents.
Seriously, who is going? Everyone I've recently been in contact with says they aren;t going. I'd like to go but I really would rather not spend my night with a bunch of horney guys. Sorry. I guess the strippers will be there althought I'm not much into lap dances unless they have a happy ending!

I think that most of us have been on this board long enough to know that there are a few 'Chicken Littles' among us. They always feel the need to put a negative twist to any positive socializing among the community with either the threat of LE or the sheriff or whatever else they can find.
I think that we all know that LE is alive and well and we all know that they'd like to stop escorting, massage, etc. from continuing. That's why we're all trying to come together and get to know each other so that we can all be safer. I really think it's a stretch, even for 'Chicken Littles', to think that LE can or will cause trouble with the community getting together in public to drink, socialize and have fun. We're all intelligent adults who know how to act in public so I don't think there will be any need for LE.
I'm sorry to say that I may not be able to make it this time and I know I'll be missing out on a lot of fun with a lot of great people. Have some drinks and lap dances for me!!!

That happened at Dave's party in December. A couple of guys came and started scaring the girls by telling of a suspected LE bust. I know because I was one of the girls they approached. There was no LE trouble there at all. Turns out, they had their own shindig somewhere else which was why they left early. With the LE threat we have to deal with anyway, the fact that people would use it to sabotage a party is just plain low. Some people in this town need to grow up and realize that they don't run this industry.
