i generally give them a window..extra hr to show up..shit happens..i've gotten use to this..but,i must admit, sometimes it does take away from the session..never had this problem in az.
I recently had an experience with a popular provider that had me a bit upset.
We mutually agreed upon a time to meet at her incall. Upon arriving I waited near her location for her to arrive. After about ten minutes I received a call from her that she would be slightly late because she had to drop her child at a day care provider. Fine no problem.
About 30 minutes went by, and I received another phone message that she was hung up in traffic, but she would be there shortly. After failing to show twenty five minutes later, I called her to find out what the delay might be. She apologized and assured me she would be there shortly.
At this point I thought should I just tell her to forget it, and risk her wrath and potential claims that I was a no show type of guy, or wait it out.
I waited it out. We had our hour together, and moved on. I was in such a crappy mood there was no way I could have enjoyed the meeting.
on how strong your "relationship" is. This sounds like a 1st meeting so it would be abnormal for you not to be tweaked (and IMO you have a makeup of some kind coming). you would have been well within your "rights" to reschedule or simply move on. However, its unfair for you to blame the gal once you decide to go ahead....although she certainly should go above and beyond to try and make sure you have a good time.....
I had the exact same situation not to long ago. She let me know she was running late and the reason why and I told her it was no problem. She called me a few times to let me know where she was and we ended up meeting about an hour later than originally planned. We had a great time and ended up having dinner together. Sometimes you just need to be patient.

Plowhorse, once you elected to go ahead with the session, allowing the crappy mood you mentioned to interfere isn't the ladies fault. I don't think you were blaming the lady for what sounded like a lackluster session, though.
I guess it boils down to: did you feel she was taking advantage of your flexibility or not? If you felt that way (or if I felt that way) - I'd probably have asked to at least reschedule.
So, I don't think there is an "answer" here. It depends on the situation, the relationship (if any) with the lady, how long in advance the appt. was booked, wether slipping the time back causes a schedule problem for you, or possibly greatly influences your other plans for that day/evening.
