I was just wondering how long it takes for a review to appear after writing it-does it have to be approved etc and about how many days-?

The 1st rejection usually takes a day or two.  The time until it's posted depends on how many other resubmitions of the same review you have to do until one is approved.

That kind of sucks-doesn't this board need reviews to survive and serve a purpose? Seems like there would be no TER without reviews obviously. So do they email you a rejection or how do you know? And what basis do they reject things on>?

Good luck I have submitted a review 4 times and it has gotten unapproved. I changed the text still the same problem. It seems that all they want in your money.

I had one rejected for an unacceptable web link, then resubmitted it EXACTLY as instructed and it came back unapproved again.... It gets frustrating because eventually you give up and it's the providers, and subsequently the hobbyists who suffer... That said, I will keep trying anyway... That's why we're all here

I just do not see the point economically or practically for the owners of this site-Maybe I am missing something but how possibly would rejecting reviews benefit the site whatsover

If you do your job and read the FAQ's you will see that for the owners of this site integrity of their review data base is more important than the number of reviews:

I don't see any of these posts "slamming" TER...or is TER so fragile that the slightest questioning prompts concern? Sounds like legitimate points to me-alias or no. If you think you "got" someone Dingus, out them. Or hush. Cause alias or not, they DO have a point, maybe not one that should be discussed here, but that's OK, it gets settled where it matters. And that aint here.

When WILL folks learn, using that alias means you can be disregarded, marginalized and discounted, even if you might actually HAVE a point. Even if that point isn't all that inflammatory to the aims of this site, or its dollar revenue.

I had a review kick back once, on one of Mystiques girls oddly enough, so I just quit posting reviews. I figure why should I keep giving away what I know for free so someone else can repackage it and charge you all for it? If I REALLY need to know the "juicy details", I can easily afford to pay for them. I find that by and large, I dont.

Frankly, I think one should be very careful, if the guys who create the actual "value" for you here really thought it through, and realized you need them far more than they need you, you might see the entire business model collapse. It's all about percieved value anyway.

Cause how many serious hobbyists have found anything really useful here they didnt already know in the last two years? Now THERE'S something to think about-hell if I was Jack and Danny I'd host my own board...they've largely outgrown the need for this place.

Anyway, remember posters-skip aliases, if you aint got balls enough to say something on your "real" name, don't bother. No one pays attention, despite what you may think.

That goes for you ladies as well, cause as you can see we know who you are anyway. I'd rather respectfully disagree with you than know you are too cowardly to have opinions you will back up.

Bah, who cares really-this is all a big clique anyway. It lost relevance long ago.

More fun in 07-Hobby Happy!

PS:

Disagree? Please, PLEASE Tell me so-send coherent commentary to my name at yahoo dot com.

Let's see who will actually stand behind their comments. Though I already know how that will go.

Many folks get a review rejected and don't know
and just wait around for it to be approved when
in fact it's sitting in the reject queue.
