This morning I had the perfect date with the girl of my dreams. In reality I know Sarah is away out of my league but for a couple hours each month I can live that dream. at the double standard in play here. Where are all the nameless faceless "shill police"? They seem to have no problem coming out in force to attack certain "targets"....but leave other identical postings alone.

For the record I have no issue with this post, Sarah or the "poster"....in fact I applaud it...this BBS exists primarily to provide both entertainment and 411...to facilitate the pursuit of a good time.

Hopefully all such posts can be accepted with either a positive comment....or silence:)

I've been pro indie for long before you ever showed up here. This isn't an "indie vs agency" issue or a "price" issue. Preferred pricing for good clients exists in all business arena's and also isn't an "indie vs agency" issue. What price the guy paid isn't relevent to wether he had a good time or not.

2nd) you seem to need to bring up an agenda on all posts in this area. I could care less if you offer discounts or not. I could care less if someone else offers discounts or not. It isnt relevent to the topic...

By implying dishonestly in others you are attacking and creating hostility. You also come across as two faced. If its a "shill" for an indie its a legitimate compliment...if its from one othe the local "white knights" it's good as gospel. However, if its an agency gal then obviously its not real or honest....and if it's from one of "those guys"....well look at the source.

Thats exactly how I read your comments and I reponded accordingly....please correct me if my interpretation is wrong.

No clue who you met or why they would "pretend" to be me (damm that might be dangerous to the poor guy:). Others told me "I" was at the TER party....so maybe you met me "there". My friends know I had a pretty serious misadventure that precluded me from a bunch of festivities so it sure wasnt me there.

Look Terri I have zero issues with you. I simply responded to what you actually wrote. Often what I write isnt percieved the way I wanted it to be either (and I certainly have my own collection of signs:)).

Many of us write (me included) and yes sometimes it's not perceived the way they it was meant.

Sorry you took my post personal but, I didn't realize when you post directly under a thread you were directing it personal, rather than a mere comment to that topic....I'll look at that more carefully from now on,, and so should some others too! Now we know the procedures and protocol.  
My was not meant directly to you either, I simple responded on what you wrote and how i perceived it....So you have your opinion and I have mine so no need on telling me about having a clue, I do and I have the right to feel and express myself as I see fit as do we all.
So lets move on and enjoy  all our friends that post and have comments to make!!!

A perfectly complimentary post to Sarah and right away, Hacker turns it into a bickering match where everyone participates (ok not EVERYONE, but enough that the thread is now fertilized with bull shit) and defends their own angle.

::sigh:: Hacker, why can't you just let the stuff on the board be the stuff on the board? Why do you always have to swoop in like a vulture and vomit all over a lovely post thanking a lovely independent for service that sounds like it's above a 10? Why do you have to come in and remind everyone of past arguments regarding shilling and start drama where there shouldn't have been any.

This is, again, a perfectly good example of yet ANOTHER thread being hijacked by you and turned into a pissing contest. If you don't have a problem with the post, why in the hell did you write the first paragraph? You clearly thrive on negativity and aren't happy unless you have everyone up in arms. Why? Why is that? What happened to you when you were a kid to make you so negative, hateful and narcissistic?

Frankly, I'm happy to see a post thanking ANY lady. But the posts to which you're referring regarding shilling aren't usually posts for the ladies, it's usually posts for the agencies for FINDING and PROVIDING the ladies with a sentence regarding her service level. This is a post regarding JUST the SP. THAT'S the difference between an informative post (this one) and a shill for an agency rather than a compliment for the lady working for the agency (the others most everyone is tired of reading, from what I can tell).

Now please, Hacker, please stop posting responses like this whenever someone is complimented on HER service. It's unfair to hijack this lady's kudos and to ruin this rare poster's sharing of his experience. This is exactly why new people simply read without participating and many of the old posters have stopped participating. This should be a positive hobby which should be reflected on the local board, not one where people thrive on and introduce negativity into it. We have the rest of the outside world to do that, why do we need it from the "insiders" as well?

So...

Didnt hijack the thread, think Sarah is wonderful...(you can  actually find a post where I say I'd give her an "11" for service)and applauded the post. I do however question the literary concept of vomit "swooping"....I think if your going to use the vulture theme then Hyena would be more appropriate...now vomit would have worked if you'd have started with dogshit for example.

What I pointed out was the bias that you and others bring. Your post here highlights it again, I just dont see why you feel so threatened by others. I'm all for everyone having a good time.

BTW you lost me on the "SP"....

Nice to see you back up and running with your own demons under control. A lot of folks were rooting for you...

I'll start by BASICALLY ignoring the personal attacks that have no leg on which to stand but which are  based on rumors spread by people who don't know me. If you'd like to be enlightened on anything, feel free to email me. Just this once, Hacker and I'll enlighten you so you can bring it back to whoever has so little life, they must create stories about mine. Flattering, really.

SP is common shorthand for Service Provider. There is no bias. My point was just what was in my initial post. The shills are for the AGENCIES more often than the actual employees of the agency providing the service. That's the only point anyone has ever made, though perhaps not so clearly. The problem with shilling is that it's not positive posts about the providers of the agencies, it's big huge kudos for the agencies with a sentence or two dedicated to the actual girl the poster saw. Do you see what others and I are saying now?

Either way, you did hijack this thread. There is one member who posted his happiness with Sarah, another member who responded to the OP (Sarah herself) and Jack who agreed with what Sarah said. In between is this drivel from you and others arguing back and forth and finally, my opinion.

I've been around all along, Hacker. I just don't spend more than an hour a week on the boards and usually I restrain myself from posting. But this was so offensive to the OP and Provider, I couldn't hold back.

As for your comment on shills if you look at my last post I never even mentioned the agency or provided a link....simply acknowledged I had a great time...those that needed more PM'd me or did the legwork. Personally I never "shill" the agency...that being said all of the top 4 do a great job of taking care of their clients and deserve the kudo's...I also "shill" equally for indies. I've also posted links to reviews I found interesting even for TLC and others with whom I have a "frosty" relationship at best.

Truthfully all I see is someone who obviously is smart and at times thoughtful with a chip so big on your shoulder it drags you down.
