I was working with an agency for some time.  Due to circumstances beyond my control, I am no longer with them.  My dillema is, do I try to find a good, honest agency to work for or do I fly solo?  If solo, where do I begin?  Any Suggestions?

I prefer independent ladies but don't blame you for wanting the security, comfort and convenience provided by agency affiliation.

there are a lot of resources there and a link to the list. Dave can help and help connect you with some Independent providers who may have valuable info for you. Another good site to check out is www.phoenix411.net

1. Get a Phone Number ( I suggest a Cell Phone for Easy Access and Travel Purposes)

2. Figure out your Rates and Schedule.

3. Find a Clean Safe Centrally Located Incall Location. ( I'm only suggesting this if you want to be busy. Outcall works out Great, but You'll find that 98% of your clients will Want/Need Incall)

Why not try independent for a set amount of time and then make a decision. Try an ad on one of the websites for a month.

If you are interested in going independant you can still work for an agency on a referal basis. You will recieve a better cut and have the option of using a driver or not. It is a great way to suppliment your income untill you get a few regular clients and is still a fun way to be involved in the close knit agency network. I work with several agencies when I travel out of town. It gives them an opportunity to allow fresh faces to see thier regulars and gives you an opportunity to make extra cash and get to know the town better. Plus you can still schedule your own appointments... I personally love being an indepandant and have worked that way for several years.
