Bob,and GGL thanks for the input, I really like the idea of getting rid of reviews that are over 2 yrs old. As providers mature some get better and some get mechanical but the more current reviews should let you know how the provider is doing.I do not like a scorecard, but do appreciate a good review . I would be happy with one a month and getting rid of the old ones if posssible.....thanks again V
I was talking with a client recently and he made a comment in regards to provider reviews, He said that he does not see a provider that has a lot of reviews because too many miles on the car so to speak. Is there such a thing as too many reviews ? Can that work against a provider? I also find that hobbiest sometimes feel no need to review a provider that has several good reviews already posted. I personally like a review but now that I have been around awhile are less reviews more attractive to a future client? I know this is fantasy dating and I get the feeling men like to think and feel that we do not see as many clients as we do having said that I really do not have an answer to my question or a solution. Anyone have any thoughts on this matter? Victoria

Funny you should ask. I've looked at the profiles of some girls and then glanced downwards and said "Whoa!" when I saw just how many pages existed. You can't help but think that for every review posted, quite a few more were not.
I don't think there is a "magic number", but I think you raise an interesting question.
One of the flaws I see with the review system (as it sits) is that it is mostly quantitative as opposed to qualitative. The 8/8 and 9/9 stuff starts to really blend together.
Perhaps if a lady is well established with a pattern of consistent reviews, one could be created to serve as "current" and then be updated later (perhaps quarterly or semi-annually). Sort of like wikipedia.
5 good reviews rather than TOFTT. Once a provider has a couple of pages of reviews, I tend to look at the most recent reviews for consistency and quality of sessions. I would like to see old reviews > than 2 years be archived or deleted...they don't serve much purpose other than act like a score card. Once a provider has several pages of reviews...I start worrying about the provider getting too mechanical in her sessions also.

if you look at wikipedia.org, you'll notice that every topic can be updated by the community. The details about a certain girl could be kept up-to-date without having to have 100 seperate rehashes of the juicy details. Not that juicy details are bad, but do guys really need to see 100 stories about the same girl in the same apartment?
To take the car anology a step further... If someone offered me a hot Porche I wouldn't turn them down because of thw milage!!! Provider or hobbiest, we've all been around the block a few times. Personally consistant good reviews are more important to me. If a provider is gonna get "mechanical" you should see it in the reviews. I pay way more attention to the comments than the numerical ratings. The important thing is being a quality companion, reviews be dammed. If you are who cares about th idiot that counts reviews. You don't need him anyway!!!
Personally speaking, I don't think I would go past 2 pages of reviews... There's the possibility of a provider not offering the same service as before or maybe adding a new one... As far as "mileage" the more experience the better IMHO... All I know is yours are consistently great so don't worry Victoria; you have many fans out here...
But, I think it is a fair question. My position is not about the total number of reviews, but the speed in which they accumulate. And yes, I do pay attention to this when choosing a date.

This is one of many that I agree with...(not the last sentense though)...
this is from the link above:

If I want a heart transplant I go to a doctor that specializes in heart transplants and does them all day long. If I want a divorce I go to a lawyer that does divorce cases, because that is what he does well.
When I want a good sex I go to a woman that does it professionally, not someone that does it as a quick way to make some money giving an occasional blow job.
You may also find that women that have many reviews tend to specialize in men that like to read and write, an intelligent high end client. The bottom feeders tend not to write reviews.

Some men don't write reviews and that's ok! But they do tend to be a regular, send you nice notes, and jokes to add to your fun page! That's what I call the best compliment of all!
A special thank you to you guys!!!!!!!They have come to see me because of those reviews...so I thank you guys too!!!!!
You're all very special!

I agree with your client and with some of your comments. I don't write reviews for every experience, just the ones on both ends of the spectrum. Ones to warn, and ones to worn. If someone has good reviews, it's obvious. I don't really want to see 4, or 10 pages of people that planted the flag before me. Who was the second guy on the moon, or the 355th person to land on American soil? Exactly! You remember Neal Armstrong and Christopher Columbus.
I hope that noone is naive enough to believe that they're the going to be Lewis and Clark that day. I just don't want to be at McDonald's....."over a billion served"
Is it possible to have only the last (insert your number) reviews posted, and everything after that is removed? If so, that would be my
suggestion. You have such consistant reviews, deleting some wouldn't change anything.
I would love to remove them not all, but like I said at least the last 6 pages.....not because they are bad reviews I just feel I have more than enough....Does anyone know out there if it is possible to remove outdated reviews? Here is another point say a provider had an LE situation this shows just how long she has been working.....Thanks for all the help everryone....V
Victoria, I fully agree with you on that last point. A review history from an LE perspective is probably quite bad. The longer it is, the worse it gets.
I think at some point, it'd be nice to see something that serves as a "fencepost" kind of review that sort of sums it up. Afterwards, there could be updates every so often just to see if the lady is still doing well. Right now, at some point, I think that pages and pages (at 10 reviews each) can do more to penalize a good girl than to reward her. And that is sad. Good service should be rewarded.
Hi Victoria...if you have enough you can tell staff that you don't want anymore reviews posted and of course tell the gent not to do a review.
I'm not sure but whether you have 10 pages or 2 pages and LE is involved, it won't make a difference on how much time would be spent in tent city!!!!
I don't want my first 6 pages taken away even though my first review was a 6....I think I've come along way and I'm proud of that.
If you read the posts from the link on the general board, the majority of gents have no problem about a provider having pages and pages of reviews. I would lean towards them rather than the one that you're referring to.
Keep up the good work and enjoy the rewards!
Have a Happy Super 2007!!
Terri
Thanks Terri, and rather than ask staff for no more reviews I think I will just let it go for now,I spoke with a top provider who is in the know on this issue and she told me that Dave Elms likes to show how long we have been on TER and our progress or decline in service so he's the boss and I will play by the rules...Have a great new year Terri......V
Vic...I wasn't meaning that you're not playing by the rules...I don't believe you have to take reviews you can request not too. I'm not in the know but, but I knew the purpose of the continuing reviews, I personally like the idea of seeing the improvements, I consider myself a top provider and if I see my reviews start declining then I guess that's the q to move on! I hope not, I enjoy tooooo much.
You have a great new year too, Vickie
How about a system that allows for a rating system as is found on ebay? People could still give scores on individual categories, but at the end of the day, they either have to leave a positive, negative or a neutral. Providers with stellar reputations will have feedback averages of over 97% Those will less-than-stellar would have less than that.
This would allow the totality of the positive reviews to stay with you, without people needeing to see endless amounts of past write-ups.
For those who do not use ebay...go have a look. look up an item and have a look at the seller's feedback score.
