I read the post below where providers mentioned that a hobbiest should keep his bad review to himself. BULLSHIT!  If you didn't have a good time, rate her a 4 or 5 and explain in the details.  Yeah, I know it could hurt business but so what.  There are too many 8's 9's and 10's out here.  Grade inflation is NOT a good thing at TER.

Flame away.

This is one reason I don't give out my TER handle when I hobby.

I agree with you cup cake.  Thee is NO reason to with hold a bad review.  At the same time there are many different ways to say the same thing.  To write a vindictive review is not right but if you state the facts from your perspective, after all, isn't that what the reviews are all about?

Bottom line is the ladies have feelings and bad reviews hurt them but at the same time can also give them a wake up call to step up to the plate and improve their service or decide if they should be in this line of work.

Another factor of the YMMV. what one guys perspective and session is like may be vastly different from another session.  You have to also take into consideration who is writing the review.

No flaming here.

I would never post this under my real handle. To be honest, when I get a 9/10 review (most of them are) I don't get nearly the amount of phone calls as when a 7 or 8 goes up. So, I have come to my own conclusion that most men are intimidated by high numbers.

Just my 2 cents worth.
Rate away.

Someone with 10 good reviews and 1 bad one has nothing to fear. Guys look at the trends. The 1 bad review would be viewed as an aberration.

I am drawn to 9/10 reviewees out of a curiosity to see what super experience is being provided. There is a definite disappointment when a 9/10 rated provider does not then meet the expectations set by so many high ratings. This does occur, albeit not frequently.

in wonderful detail the meeting and a description of the provider, then that certainly would turn me on more. Wink!

I think we need to remember that the review is of the provider only.  If she delivered as promised and made an honest effort then how can you honestly give her a bad review?  If the hobbiest has "issues" should the provider be punished with a rating of 4 or 5?  The hobbiest has a ton of information available to make an informed decision so should the provider be punished because he did not do his homework?

If she does not deliver as promised or up-sells or something like that then by all means post a bad review so everyone can know.

You call Bullshit because the guy does not throw down a 4 or 5 rating? I respectfully disagree with your assesment, based on his post.

He practically admits that he was not at the top of his game and was at least partially responsible for what he considered to be a subpar encounter. He even said 'The disappointment is mine and not a result of the provider'. What the hell more could she do? At what point do we as 'hobbiests' have to take some responsibility for a bad performance? Even if you chalk it up as bad chemistry, I would hope that that would be thoroughly explained in any review that would be written.

In any event, unless we are talking about a provider with no track record, I think I would either skip the review altogether or make it damn clear that I was just as much at fault for this misfire as she was...

By the way, I do give out my TER handle when seeking an appointment, mostly as a way for my potential date to get an idea what I like by reading past reviews and posts on boards like this.
I would totally respect a lady if she was to say, 'you know, Mr NSF, I've read your stuff and just don't think we would connect'. Thankfully that has not happened, but, it would sure beat writing a bad review.

...with one important addition that everyone, providers nd hobbyists alike should always keep in mind, whether writing a review or reading one, is that this entire activity is YMMV-based.  One person's "6" in looks is another person's "9," and performance numbers can fluctuate just as wildly.  I had a great encounter just the other day with someone I'd never met before, but that doesn't mean another person will have the same time I had.  YMMV....take it for what it's worth.

When I see 9/10 ratings, I am more impressed specially if there are pages of them.  We look for the consistency not a one hit wonder.

You are right about too many 8s, 9s, and 10s out there. Gosh I hate it when some guys over exaggerate. While on the subject of "hate" - how about the ones who decide to write a novel when reviewing a lady? Jezz!!! Mind you, there are some gals who out there who are just absolutely great. Yep! I saw one a couple weeks ago. Not that she needs my endorsement. She is the much reviewed Sarah.
