Hello all!  Not quite a newbie here.  But then again maybe I am.

I've submitted a handful of reviews to TER over the years and prior to a hiatus (the last three years) was a regular to a local provider calling herself Auriana Love.

Now that I'm returning to the hobby I'm finding that its a bit more challenging to re-establish myself as a known hobbyist.  Most reputable independents (and a lot of reputable agencies) seem to require references before meetings can occur.  This can be rather daunting to a newer hobbyist since you cannot get appointments without references and cannot get references without appointments.

I've been to Phx411 many times but the providers I find myself most interested in require references.  I've checked out some of the reputable agencies (two of which specifically indicated that they required references) and even got a membership to a third.

What am I missing here?  I suppose an option available to me would be CL but, ya know what, that world is just a wee bit more risky than I'm comfortable with.

So without asking someone to name names (which I think would be rather tacky), can someone recommend a path I can travel that will ultimately provide me with the references I need to become known?

With luck I haven't stepped on any land mines due to my frustration and curiousity.  If I have my apologies to all!

I've consulted with a number of the ladies and have always recommended that they try to gather certain data in order to assure themselves that you are safe for them to see.  (One example:

If your question, however, is really, "How can I get an appointment with no references and without giving out any personal information?" then frankly, I hope you can't, because a provider who does so is playing with fire!

My question had absolutely nothing to do with trying to find a way to circumvent the ladies safety and well being.  On the other hand it had everything to do with trying to understand what is the normal and accepted procedure to create references when I have none and none of the ladies I'm interested in are available without references.

Have you made use of their service?  I have never had a problem getting a reference from Mystique, TLC, DD, AZ Con or from Rose.  NEVER......  

However, you have to SEE one of their ladies, not just join their club before they will give you a reference.  Once that has been completed I am sure that you will not have any problems obtaining some time with your desired independant(s).  If an indy won't accept an agency reference (which used to be my policy while in the midwest as agencies in the midwest do not screen at all), well then luv - time to move on to the next one!

Sarah is a good choice and other than her, I belive that Mya will also take appointments without a provider reference, but you would need to follow through on their procedures as I know they won't see you based off of an email.

Thank you for your thoughts and suggestions!  I created the member to DD's site this past week and have not yet had an opportunity to book a meeting through the agency.  I did this based on a recommendation of a very cool provider who recommended that I consider using the services of a reputable agency to get my initial references.

Each lady should follow her own instincts and safety rules, and gentlemen without references should follow them.  Apparently you haven't actually tried asking any providers to screen you for an appointment.  It's not as hard as you make it sound.

You're not going to get a response from this forum to which you can point and say to a lady, "You're not following the correct procedure!"  I think almost everyone here respects the providers' right to set their individual criteria.

Actually I have spoken with several ladies.  In each instance the lady specifically indicated that they would not consider a client without pre-existing and verifiable references.  Maybe I'm simply simply setting my sites a bit too high...
