One thing in life I hate is recurring charges from websites or memberships to anything-really pisses me off when you try to cancel online or over the phone somtimes and it takes half an hour with them prying at you about why your quiting-are you sure your quittng blah blah so I understand your pain.

I purchased a membership and have full faith that taylor did not do this on purpose-she has been straight up with me and the board from what I can see but I agree it sucks when that happens.

Not a huge deal, but about 10 months ago I signed up for the TLC website, than tried to cancel and all my requests were just ignored, it took me calling my credit card company to eventually get my account canceled.  Well, my curiousity and need for information led me a few months ago to sign back up, but than I wanted to cancel again.(I know burn me twice, shame on me)  I called the TLC number and spoke to someone and they said it was taken care of, I emailed them and I've still been charged again for the last few months including today.  It's only 15 bucks a month, so it's not that big of deal.  Just a heads up to others that you might want to avoid it, unless you're ready to spend 50-70 bucks trying to get them to stop your account. It seems a little shady and shortsided and cheap to me.  I have lots of great options in town for companies to use and will probably go other directions over 30 bucks or so, which is stupid.

That's how they sucker you. They think that since it is only 15 bucks a month, most people will not put up a fuss.

ok, thanks.
Wouldn't it probably be helpful if there was a way on the website to cancel without having to come on here to get your personal email?

Just curious:  Are you prepared to reimburse him for the other months, or are you just going to push through the cancellation?

What steps are you taking to see that this practice ends?  Do you handle the administration of the billing yourself?
