The ladies I have been with and I have an agreement concerning "sightings".
If we are alone, no problem stopping her, saying hello.
If we are with someone, no contact at all. Later, dropping an email saying "I saw you today".
Actually, this has occurrd to me when I was shopping at a mall recently.
She was with someone, I noticed her and made eye contact, she noticed, gave me a sly smile back and that was it.
Later, she sent me an email, saying she wished I had been with her instead of the "dud" she was with ( her words).
It really depends on what your "status" is with the lady.
Now a question for you...
Would you acknowledge a "favorite" client if you saw him in public?
Just my opinion...

While at the airport going through the security lines while walking through the different terminals and looking into the faces of other travelers a lot of which whom were business men, sometimes I would get a look of I know that person but not knowing from where and then the oohh I remeber now look.
Now that didn't happen all the time mind you but just a couple of times and so...
This question came to mind...
If you are a business man that finds yourself doing a lot of traveling and if let's say you happen to see me walking by and at first you didn't recognize me and all of a sudden you knew exactly who I was. Would you then approach me and introduce yourself? OR Would you go on your merry way? OR What would you do in this type of situation?
Now it doesn't have to be me how about we just say a provider, any provider.
A better question would be, as a provider, would you want us to recognize and talk to you in a chance meeting at the airport, or do you prefer to keep your private and professional lives separate to the point that you would not want us to acknowledge you in public?
If you were not with your SO I would take it personaly if
you didn't stop and say hello.

If he was looking at me with "hey I know you" look sure thing
but if he was looking at me as if I were to come up to him
he would be dead the next day no I wouldn't.
Good answer.
While there is a special feeling when you see that "special" lady out in public, we, the men of this community, must remember...
discretion, discretion, discretion...
Just my opinion...

Interesting question...
Personally, it would depend on if I was with my SO or not. If I'm not with her, I would stop and say hi. If the provider looked like she was with someone, I would not. Sometimes, politeness takes a second seat to necessary discretion in the business.
Just my 2 cents.
I would have to be 100% sure that it was you, which probably would mean that I would have spent time with you in the past(pictures can be so deceiving sometimes!). If I had spent time with you before, then yes, I would approach you, as long as you were not with anybody.
see I work in retail & allways wonder:"Am I going to run into a provider & if so, what should I say or do?" You know you gotta be careful of husbands & boyfriends. I would be happy if one of my ATF's showed up at my store (wink wink, hint hint. Lol).

At the gas station recently I was approached by a gentleman whom I'd never seen before but recognized me and introduced himself. He said, "You're Tina Pink right?"
That being asked I was given the opportunity to decline and say I wasn't if I was with someone who I didn't want knowing- But I was alone and actually ended up having a really friendly chat with the fella.
Personally, as a provider who understands the need to be discreet in this "business", I would NEVER approach a previous client. If I were approached in a situation that was inappropriate, I'd try to handle it respectfully![]()
Kisses!
After reading some of your responses I thought to myself how
would my S.O. feel if while we were in a store or where ever together how HE would feel if someone came up to me who knew
me as a provider.
S.O. I ASKED
His response was.. he wouldn't be bothered by it unless
he felt any disrespect for me or himself if there was
any kind of arrogance or cockyness then he might be bothered by it but then again that would bother anybody anywhere so it's
hard to say in that case. He did say that he thought one of my clients may have more of a problem in that situation than he would.
I don't know if it's totally different, but I've dated and roomed with a few dancers and they always got totally pissed when someone acknowledged them out of the club.
I've spotted clients and been spotted by clients in a variety of places. I have always felt that it was safest to be discreet in public places just in case his S.O. was around the corner and I appreciate the same consideration.
This is a good topic! I was once recognized at a gas station and got the question "aren't you the girl on the cover of such and such website", this was before I was in the "business" and it scared me a little bit. Since I have been in the business I did run into a client while I was at the grocery store...with my daughter! It was handled very well, just a pass by and a hello. And to that fine gentleman...thank you for handling it so well!
