Interesting times in our little slice of heaven....

Wow, so many things happening and Cliff has been a little detained the last few weeks. For the record, I am innocent. She had ID that said she was 21 and geez did she look 21 and I met her in a bar! How the heck was poor cliff to know she was only 17. I am innocent! (but, look for the review when the court records are unsealed .

So, we have had a game of Peek-a-boo post. In some circles, this is also known as the TER Triangle. Posts pop-up and then go away – POOF!. Dingus must have felt he was at one of those arcade games, you know, where you are trying to hit a gopher over the head with a mallet?

Then it seemed we had people upset, for what Cliff hasn't figured out, about folks trying to get this rumor out in the open. People, somebody broke the most cardinal rule of our little thing - never, Never, NEVER reveal the identity of a person. I mean, come on! When you are entrusted with details of persons life no matter what happens – you can never reveal that stuff! If the person  is ever found, I hope our community excises that cancer.

I won't even mention how happy I am that the little (ok, not little) "debate" has ended. Civility is a sign of upbringing and character.

Spare me the weekly summary Cliff. We are quite capable of reading ALL of the posts and can interpret them appropriately. Don't really need them spoon fed back for a second time and in a selective fashion or with ones own subjective spin or twist added. Waste of board space and time in my opinion. Want to add your comments and thoughts to important and relevant issues on the board - then go for it - and I am sure your comments would be appreciated. A little presumtious, don't you think, that anyone would need your summarization of the weekly information sharing? Don't really need Mommy or Daddy reading a book to me that I have heard before. It puts me to sleep.

and given the positive responses he's gotten, it would appear that he's not the presumptuous one.  Give your finger a break, and don't click on his posts.  Maybe the rest will put you in a better mood!

I get no driving pleasure in writing these, but if the board feels they would prefer they not be written, so be it.

I don't really see the point in a recap of what's been written the past week.  I'm not complaining, though.  Maybe some people prefer a nice summary.  I'm just not one of your readers, Cliff.

But, these posts were not intended to be a simple recap; there was a (obviously failed) attempt at humor involved.

Frankly, I think your summaries are both amusing AND worthwhile.  Not everyone has time to read everything on the board, and even when we do, it's fun to hear it recapped in an amusing fashion.  It's not unlike "Weekend Update," which, when Chevy Chase used to do it, I thought was the best part of SNL.  Keep posting, Cliff.

Not to open myself up to BS aliased attacks from chicken shits. It appears to ole' Cliff that some are deriving their pleasure from pathetic attempts at hurting others. Those folks are leading very sad lives, and should really take a long look at themselves. A simple "stop posting" would have registered a nay vote, but they seem to think there is blood in the water and are in a feeding frenzy. I do not give a rats ass about aliased posts, they are not being counted. Even when everybody knows who the aliases belong to.

Now, if you wish to come out of the shadows and hold your opinion up to the brutal light of informed discussion; then I, among others, will be there to defend your right to post your thoughts (and defend you against posters attacking YOU and not your thoughts). Of course, not because this is YOU - but simply as a matter of principle. But, until you show enough courage and integrity to do so, you are just another basement dwelling troll hiding in the shadows...

So, I'll continue the compulsive (actually, it's more of a lack of impulse control) drivel posting and try to not allow my verbal masturbation to dribble all over my chin(s).

If these posts bother you, because you think they are intentionally leaving notable events/people out - then feel free to flag those posts along the way. I'll try and find a way to work them in. These posts are intended to be humerous, highliting notable events and present a (OK, my) macro view of what is going on in the hobby. They are certainly not intended to be divisive.
