Just a note to say that IMHO Don and Megan have it right.

After a while, it gets totally boring to read the flame wars.  I want to say to people something like, "Get a life!"  In many, many, many years of hobbying (I'm quiet, but my guess is I am as actually active as almost anyone on the boards) I have now come to laugh at people who have such awful manners.  Until, of course, I realize that anyone, whether a high class or low class person, whether brilliant or whatever, can hide behind a computer screen and say absolutely anything he/she likes.  I'm not speaking about bad reviews -- that's all part of the resaon the Boards exist -- just unbelievable sensitivity to any word and sleazy personal attacks.  Our only choice, of course, is to simply spend less time on the Boards.  But, for me, I am so in love with so many fabulous Phoenix women I have had the pleasure to spend time with over the years that I keep coming back occasionally, mostly to read, as I gave up most of my writing several years ago to avoid flames.

I am startled that even in a message as positive as the one Megan wrote, someone should take offense and begin personal attacks.  Ah, well...

When I email to new people who seem interesting, asking if we should meet, one of the things I mention is that I personally enjoy spending time with upbeat, positive people.  I ask if the particular individual fits that bill.  I try to get clues to the answer from what people have written on the Boards.  As to Megan, its just unfortunate (for me) that I never had the opportunity to meet her while she was in the biz.

Now, lets see...  Will someone take offense at this post?

Thanks for your support.  I pondered long and hard about hitting the "submit" button but in the end felt it was the right thing to do.  One of Mya's recent post's (Smile), turned into the type of thread I LOVED to read when I joined a couple of months ago.  Lot's of fun banter and quips.  BTW...Do you play golf?

Actually, I am an avid golfer, play several times weekly.  Why do you ask?
