That's great advice, NoRipoff. It's a good reminder, even for those of us who have been in this hobby for a while.
I got ripped off about 20 years ago by an outcall girl up in Denver. Very attractive but so aggressive and unfriendly to the point of hostility that I was glad to finally get her out of my hotel room.
My solution is that I always go to an incall location, at least the first time I'm with a girl. If things look bad when I'm at the door, I can escape! (That's only actually happened once.) That seems much better than having some sort of a scene at my hotel room door.
The other advantage is that I know I haven't just let a thief into my hotel room.
Also, there are all the issues you have correctly pointed out that this is a girl who has made an up front investment in her business and is much more likely to be professional about it.
Personally, I think incalls have a lot of advantages, at least for the first date.

Girl has no website (she's not invested in herself=flybynight, possibly legit with the only decent phx agency but even they have a nice website though), no TER reviews = danger signal, either new or nobody else wants to admit so stupid as to be ripped off for $300 for lingerie lapdance.
Pic looks too perfect, too like poses from Hustler, stock photo with Penthouse or Swank type pose= ripoff red flag...you call "the girl" it's $150 "full service". If she looked like supermodel or Paris Hilton or had Gallery Girl Next Door or Club Ppose or the actual girl in the photo, there's no way a girl like that would want to screw 4 strangers a day at only $150 a piece.Think about it...she looked that good, she'd be doing run-way modeling at $1k per day, have a buff 22 yr old model type boyfriend, not screwing 40-60 yr olds w/ beer bellies and man breasts for $150 because she 'luvs it'.
And stop opening the door when you look thru the peephole and it's totally not the girl in the photo just because you're horney and she's an hr late & you waited 2 hrs although she sd she'd be there in 30 mins.If the bad agencies told you the truth....that a girl could get there in 1 hr or 1.5 hrs, you'd hang up and call someone else, so the bad agencies all quote 30 mins.
If you're stupid, you'll believe that. How's she supposed to rip off one guy in Peoria who's supposed to have "no time limit" or "1 hr" and then get to you in S. Tempe in "30 mins"?? That's not even possible on the frwy even at 100mph.
Pay to play. Find established girls. Be smart and think.

I agree with NoRipoff & PHX Friend, but I also gotta site for the providers. I'm sure some of them don't feel conferttable with stranges comming into they're homes. I've been on both sides of this (had a provider come to my apt & a few days later I was robbed, and I've been to some providers homes). My new motto is: "If it doesn't feel right, don't do it". That goes for providers & hobbiests. And guys, don't get all bent outa shape if a provider cancels at the last minute. Maybe it's for a damn good reason. I like the idea of having a hotel room ready for date (provided either by the lady or gentleman) but that's my opinion.

I must take exception to some of NoRipoff's comments. First there are many great providers that do not have web sites and therefore can not be reviewed on TER. Most of the ones I know have other occupations and can't afford to be seen on a web site. Also many don't care for the "Juicy Details" to be reviewed on this or any other board. I respect this attitude and find many of these gals amazing. Their rates are also usually less than those with Web sites and on TER.
And I wouldn't say it's not investing in themselves. I would say it is keeping their privacy which is very important to me as a client. Of the dozens of ladies I have seen over the years only two have had web sites and been reviewed on TER. There is a whole other world out there.

I meant ladies already on the net who already advertise on Eros for example , but dont have their own websites (not girls advertising in print or word- of-mouth. ) Not in your case, but alot of Internet flakes and rip off girls don't have own sites. They haven't put thought & $ into themselves... .they just post an ad on a site like Eros...and sometimes it's just about cash n dash. I agree about your lady friends wanting to be private...they've got a job, or maybe kids, and just want to see clients at $100 once in awhile on the side to add a little something to their life & their kids lives. Sounds like you 've got a good thing w/the ladies u see.
