I wonder what all the hobbyests', including me, out there would think to see our "names" on this board being rated as we rate the providers?  And, then have another provider take exception in such a public place.

As hobbyests' we describe in general or great detail the incall location, the physical attributes of the ladies, what they do to us and for us, how they do it, rate them with a number, recommend or not and whether we would see them again.  I suppose the providers need these reviews to keep new clients coming forward.  Some probably get a kick out of reading the reviews and try to put those words together with the actual event.  Would it be fun to know?  Most likely not.

The other wonder is whether the providers share with other providers her clients talents or lack there of?  Interesting, no?

What will the response to this be?  I suspect we will not see much if anything from the providers.  I would hope not.  But, the guys out there will have something to say as there are a number who cannot resist.

and has nothing to do with the earlier post...from a female

You've answered most of the questions yourself. What is the purpose?...Never mind I don't want to know.

Your post is so  male shovenest (sp). Thank god for the real gentleman here.

I agree with most of your points Mya, and quite interesting to hear your perspective on how references are shared (I always thought it was like: Yeah, Joe Shmoe, he's got a big dick, but horrible breathe, etc, ect.) Myself, I would love to see an informal rating by some of the more popular providers who frequent the boards on the more vocal and active hobbiests who are here. I know, notsofast only has a few reviews up, and you are right about that, but I've got more to come and do enough research beforehand to insure a good encounter. My guess is that I would be in the 5-6 range in looks and 9-10 in enthusiasm/performance.

I can't imagine being under that microscope for an extended period of time. I don't know how you ladies do it. The bottom line, though, is the cash is only going one way, and we have this forum to talk about it..

I actually said I wanted to be rated about a year ago and  Mya and JordanK rated me.  I thought it was kind of funny but they both gave me glowing reviews.  I would not mind at all if the hobbyiest had a page to rated on....maybe I would get some major discounts or some freebies when the girls need a nice tune up......LOL

Luckily I have been very bless with the choices I made with providers.

You have hit the nail on the head when the posting above yours missed the point.

Bottom line on all of this is a trifecta.

No hobbyest wants to see his or her name in print, disected, bisected.  Script has been flipped

If a hobbyest writes a mini or full review he or she can be called a shill.

AND, if a hobbyest writes a review he or she should be ACCUARATE, HONEST AND FAIR.

Mya is correct,my problem is with reviews by hobbiest that are completely false. I recently had a review where the client lied about everything  he claimed we did BBBJwith CIM not true never happened also that we then had  unprotected sex.I have several pages of reviews and all have been fair and truthful some better than other but at least not out right lies. Please gentlemen stick to the facts good or bad but be truthful.thanks for letting me vent Victoria

Thanks for pointing that out Mya. Shilling is NOT always a bad thing. For some on this board, one's promoting of a lady who works as an independent is perfectly fine but the promotion of lady of like qualities and talents, but who elects to work thru an agency, is not. Go figure! Now I would like to hear someone's definition of a mini review vs a promotional post. Want to take a shot at that one?

Mya, i don't think you missed the point at all.  however, i TRIED to write a mini review, IN THE REVIEW SECTION, WITHOUT "juicy details" and it was not printed for exactly that reason.  why should i have to detail what went on to give a potential hobbyist / client the information he/she is seeking?  I wanted to give a feel of my encounter, how well i was treated, how Tina made me feel.  I don't feel telling what went on, how many O's, graphic detail of this or that is the proper thing to do.  that just isn't me.  chivalrous?  gentlemanly?  perhaps, but..what happened between us is my business.  Now.. on the other hand, if Tina wants to write a review.. LOL.. GOD HELP ME!  So that's my take on mini's.  But you were right on point with your last post!

JD.. a promotional post (MY DEFINITION) would be one written, touting the abilities/services of a provider (exaggerated or otherwise), by an individual who (a) works for the agency/independent provider or (b) gets "rewards" for doing so by said agency or independent.  not unlike someone who works as a purchaser for a company who recieves kickbacks for getting his/her company to buy from a certain company.  other than that.. a mini review by, let's say.. ME.. would not be shilling (as I don't fit the above criteria for MY definition of shilling)  why shouldn't i be able to tell the whole damn world that Tina made me feel like i was the only man in her life.. and recommending her to anyone searching for the same kind of experience? :-)

Isn't the true distinction found in motivation?  If the poster intended to inform, it's a mini-review.  If he intended to either give the girl a little extra TER-Love, or is fulfilling a promise/obligation, then his motivations are personal to him and the provider, and not really for the betterment of this community.

There is a widely-held belief that a group of hobbyists exists for the purpose of getting discounted rates, and that they only have three things to offer the girls in return...regular business, reviews, and other forms of promotion.

Of course, just because a poster's motivation is saving $$ doesn't mean his comments are false...it just means that the rest of us can't be sure.

As for the independent versus agency issue, I think there are indies who have sought blatant promotion here recently, but we do seem to see it more from the guys who are agency regulars.  Also, some of the "agency cheerleaders" (the ones with the ugly legs) seem all-too eager to put down an indy who is mentioned, or a client who mentions her.

My point exactly.  Why is almost all the shilling we see for agency girls?

Your post doesn't make any sense anyway!!!Script Flipping what the hell does that mean anyway...
I just don't know why you had to start another post relating to this debate other that to stir up more negativity and get your name out there as one of the TER boys.
I don't think anyone said the reviews were inaccurate or dishonest...the fairness is that we as a group on the discussion board don't need or want to hear about the session. Mya hit the nail on the head as you so indicated....

Reviews are not to be posted on the discussion board...they are for the review section....

BOTTOM LINE....REVIEW SECTION....

Mini Reviews - Agency...done by same people
that's the heart of all of this....WE don't want to hear it on the discussion board...

All I've done here is pretty much agree with there is a place for the reviews as stated above, I also said I wished more hobbyist would post a mini review - Indy - if that's the way were going to play the game, I also Thanked the ones that have posted for Indy Lady....I hope that I have cleared that up...

I again Thank and appreciate the comments in the original post below that have shared there thoughts and have also recognized what has been going on.

Speaking for myself as to my own personal motivation in posting of a “mini review”.  It is an honest and unsolicited response of emotion and appreciation to the Lady for giving a little (or if I’m very lucky a lot) of herself in and honest, fulfilling and extremely personal way.  The reality is I can’t away produce a review that truly reflects my feelings for our session in as timely manner as would seem justified.  This however is not a case of an “indies who have sought blatant promotion” as I’ve never been asked by any provider to acknowledge a session via either a posting or review.  So as an immediate form expression of public gratitude to her here I will make a post on this board.  I would think if someone finds a poster consistently shilling and or a provider self-promoting and deems this behavior offensive then simply don’t read his or her posts.  It doesn’t take long to identify those who engage in this practice and as I recall, I myself am 100% responsible for every single post I’ve written or read here.
