I would appreciate both provider and client opinion on this.

I am experienced enough in life, and the hobby, to know that all of the wonderful encounters I have had are not dates in the perspective of the provider.

That said, being a gentleman, a really nice guy, and something of a romantic, I usually e-mail the woman after the encounter, to thank her, show my apprecitation, and indicate my hopes for future meetings.  Usually, I receive no response to these messages, which is dissappointing.

So my question is am I tking this too personal, or am I wasting my (an her) time?

I'm much the same, and send a thank you for the privelege of their company. I'd say I receive about 1/2 responses back.

  Than again I'm old fashioned to the point that I used to buy the female associates in my dept. a small personal gift for Christmas.I can't do that anymore, or I could be looking at a sexual harassment charge. The ridiculous thing is that they generally buy me a gift, and I have to apoligize because I can't reciprocate. I'm ashamed to except their generosity no matter how small the gift.

  No more wow you look great in the dress. Now more I really like your new hair do! No more accidental touches of any kind, although isn't it hilarious that they can put their hands on you as much as they want too. A female associate just left our firm a couple of days ago, and she came in my office said good bye, and asked me to give her a hug.I stood with a dumbfounded look on my face. No witnesses that she said it. What does one do.....

I must be getting to old. Time to put the Plow Horse out to pasture.

Eventually you'll find the ones that truly appreciate spending time with a nice guy.  How do you find them? Read her reviews, read her board posts and pay special attention to the way she responds to your initial email inquiry. In my opinion, you can learn alot from these.

Don't take a lack of appreciation personally and please don't ever think you are wasting someones time by sending them a short thank you email.

I admire you for feeling this way, I probably didn't respond to some of my thank you's, but i didn't think it was the thing to do, I regret it now, and I do respond now.
Times have changed some good and a lot not so good!!!
Years ago I worked with mostly men and it was nothing to hear a raw joke, get the looks and the whistles, and "your looking sexy today" but you can't do that now days the big "Sexual Harrassmet" I've had to instill in my son...even in grade school... you have to watch everything you say and do.  It's like everything is Politcal Correct..even Disney has to be carefull on how it protrays it's cartoons.

The world has gotten to complicated, I just wish people could just be natural, and if you don't like what's on tv, radio, or what Joe Blow has to say...Turn it off, Turn it off or just walk away

Even better yet let people know right off the bat how you feel so they don't waste time around you.

But I do like the looks, the winks, the whistles, the lunches, drinks, dinners, the flowers, the kisses and hugs and thank you's, good reviews and even the bad reviews and YOU are not wasting your time just be that special gentleman that you are and go with your inner feelings.

They put on one of the best acting jobs for the hour and you pay them for it.  Enough !

This is kinda on the same subject... I am new to Phoenix and this endeavour so I don't know a lot of the do's and dont's... I've already met a provider who mislead and lied to me, which was rather disappointing.. so I want to do things right... I have written to 3 ladies inquiring about meeting and have not heard back from any of them... do they not want the business?  if you are a provider who is a true gfe and looking for a very nice, sincere guy, please let me know how we can get together!  Anyone else have any advice for me, please e-mail me, I appreciate it!!

When you say that it is you who feels honored to have met or spent time with a lady, I feel it is she that should feel that way considering there are so many beautiful and talented woman in AZ, I know that I would/will feel honored that a man chose to see me.

After receiving a thank you email, that is the iciing on top of the cake for me.  The guy who does that after a session receives a personalized gold star in my book...maybe even times three.

I also send a thank you  e mail to  the  ladies I see.  I usually get a repsonse. The majority of the  ladies seem to appreciate  hearing from  the gents.   When  I do send a an email  and do not  hear  back I figure the  lady is not interested in seeing me again  and  move on  no harm  no foul.   I would  keep  sending those  thank you notes as they are appreciated   by  most.

Call me old fashion but it is only proper and respectful to acknowledge a lady who has given of herself in the most personal and intimate way.  Those that do and make an email address available deserve a note of expressing appreciation for putting a shine on our day.  So until time proves me wrong I’ll keep writing those sappy but heart felt and sincere notes of gratitude.

Are you taking a lack of response too personally-probably not on it's face. We are all human, and when we express our appreciation and gratitude without reciprocation, it can be off-putting.

I say consideration and courtesy is it's own reward. Keep treating people like you'd want to be treated and it can only come back to you favorably in the long run.

People appreciate being appreciated-and it's never a waste of time. So keep on keeping on!
