Okay, who can tell me what my handle stands for?  A little hint.  I have a physics background with an emphasis in astronomy, so it is science related.  Another hint is that both "s"es stand for the same thing.  Anyone?  Anyone?

Now that you said "science based", I'm pretty sure your screen name is a combination of the CGS system and MKS system...CGS is a system involving the centimeter, gram, and second as units of measure, and MKS would be meter, kilogram, and second.

OK, I took physics and astronomy classes at ASU, so here goes:

cgs is a sytem of units in the physical sciences : centimeter, gram, second.....mks is another common system of units: meter, kilogram, second.

I must say, I never would have thought of that combination for a username--interesting and esoteric.

Now, do I get a prize if I'm right?  

You are correct!  The cgs system was the main system of units in Astronomy and the mks system is the main system of units in Physics.  I picked it as a username because I would always remember it!

A prize, what could I give as a prize?  A book on relativity?  Or something else?
