Why does there seem to be the need lately on this board to just be a**holes to one another more often than not?
Does it really matter whether you see an indy, agency girl or a girl that uses an "assistant"?
It seems this board has fractured itself into 3 camps..either you are pro-indy/anti-agency,  pro-agency/anti-indy or those that are not really paticular who books the appointment as long as the right girl shows up, she's on time and you have a great time. I am in the latter group hence the alias. I don't want to lose the chance to see some indy and agency ladies I have my eye on. Not that anyone here holds a grudge or anything like that.
Whatever camp your in just keep doing what you have been doing and leave your snide, sarcastic, passive-aggresive comments at home. They are not necessary and bring the level of this board IMHO to that of a Kindergarten playground.

Some of my observations - none are meant as a bash if you think it is I apologize in advance.

Yes some reviews are BS,
Yes you should always do your research before calling a provider agency or indy,
Yes YMMV with all providers either agency or indy,
Yes some agencies and indy's are shady,
Yes MJ is azhackers ATF,
Yes TLC and in particular Taylor set the bar for agenices in this town,
Yes Jordan Kay aka Foxy Kay set the bar for indy's in this town
Yes DD, AZM, Elite, TLC and the rest are trying to set it even higher everyday
Yes Isabella Amore, MJ, Mya, Tina Pink, and many more are trying to set the indy bar even higher everyday
Yes Mya digs girls..ALOT,
Yes sumo99 sees ALOT of providers (lucky SOB) ,
Yes Phoenix411 is a great place to find a reputable provider,
Yes some indy's and agencies require references if you don't like it find one that doesn't require them,
Yes CL is usually not a good place to find a reputable provider,
Yes almost everyone will ignore your call if it comes up private or blocked,
Yes modprod is usually the voice of reason,
Yes Mya really really digs girls...ALOT,
Yes ms. manae posts a link to almost every post,
Yes there are "secret" groups both provider and hobbiest and now even webdesigners have started one,
Yes the agencies post after every mini-review,
Yes meet and greets by any group(except LE) are fun and should be attended if you have the opprtunity,
Yes this board is used for advertising by both indy and agency(not so much by the agencies as of late)
Yes when the "season" rolls around new and unproven agencies will pop up trying to catch the resort biz,
Yes some of the new agencies will make it and be outstanding additions to our community,
Yes some of the new agencies will fail and just disappear,
Yes it would be real interesting to see what got posted on this board if TER removed the ability to use alias's.
Yes people will always have an opinion
And finally

Some folks like the agency route, some don't. Same with indies. No one cares. Except that there is a place for both and sometimes, just sometimes, it gets very biased. And needs a bit of balancing. And while it is ok for agencies to blow their own horn, it is a bit presumptious for an indy to say how great the indy scene is. Would cause to many opinions to be formed.

Yes, folks in the biz have folks who will post on their behalf. Agencies and Indies.

Yes, girls go to work for agencies, and agency girls go indy. For a variety of reasons. From helping to increase business to taking and break or taking control of ones destiny.

Actually, there can be some treasures found on CL if you know how to see buried treasure.

I think one thing TER could do to improve this forum is to link aliases (or is it alii?) to PM boxes.  I agree with Observer that people tend to say things more harshly when they write anonymously, but that problem is amplified when responses can only be posted publicly, as well.

that it is the lady's choice to work as an Indy or to hook up with an agency. As long as she is a reputable provider offering a good service at a fair price, she should be supported regardless of her decision on the other.

WOW! Thanks for the great info! Just one thing. I have to admit that I started out advertising on CL before I found "reputable" sites to post on or sites that I could afford to advertise. I've done rather well as far as finding great clients on CL. Yes, it's alot of BS and it gets tiring after a while, but sometimes you have to wade through the muck to find the gems.. I'm not defending or endorsing CL, but for some newbies, it can be a helpful tool.

Thanks for the recognition and your points are all well thought out and honest.  As you know, this board goes in "spurts" with everyone loving each other one day and the next the claws coming out.  It is human nature and more prevalent since we are able to hide behind computers. Thanks again for the post...hopefully it will bring some sense to people here.
