Do you think this is a smart business practice. I am not comfortable giving my personal information to someone. Maybe because it may be used in the event of a LE inquiry. It would not be real great to be subpoenaed to give testimony to a government agency. OOPS!  Bad news for the provider and the hobbyist. I am a friendly person that try's to cooperate with any provider and I hate to come off as a jerk. However, it may be a serious issue in the future...

and if you are not comfortable with the assistant, just don't see ladies who run their business that way....

2.  You become a member of sites such as Date-Check, TER white list and the list goes on...you'll then be verified as one of the good guys.

Like everywhere else, if you are uncomfortable with somebody's business practices, then don't patronize their business.  There are plenty of other business establishments that are competing for your business anyway.  

If they have your info, that is all they have. Just keep your mouth shut and they have to prove anything happened.................

I just don't see providers who have assistants.  Yes, I know there are some great local providers who have assistance, and I would probably see them if they didn't use assistants. In the meantime there are plenty of great providers in Phoenix who don't have assistants.  

As far as your LE comment, don't you have a firewall between your hobby persona and your real info? If not, you need to re think how you hobby.  Many survived the DD fiasco by taking the necessary precautions.  

Well, I have dealt with assistants and I have no problem with them. I am listed on TER and I have written a few reviews. I do have several referrals on my white list.  However, I know several people in my profession that represented people in the DD case. Hobbyist and providers were charged. I am not the enemy, I advocate for people and wish our great hobby would be legalized. Regardless, I will continue with caution. I am not trying to get anyone fired, all the assistants I have dealt with have been super nice. I do have all kinds of firewalls and safeguards however, for anyone to make a record that IS discoverable is concerning. I am not trying to rain on anyone's day...

Sorry to say,  but ALLOT of girls are "handled" more than you would think I can think of a few high dollar girls that are , not just by an assistant but by local board owners - men- . {shugs} . Some often get into this biz that way then go indi. I am sure you wouldn't know the difference, even with personal emails and text messages.

I wish it was that simple.  It is the style of LE to arrest and start the domino effect. It is like lets make a deal or do the time. Under oath they produce the assistant in front of he GRAND JURY and ask her questions and she  has no attorney by her side. I will let you draw your own conclusion. Yes, everyone should refuse any dialogue with LE besides I want my lawyer.

I would prefer to deal direct with the provider. I have not seen a provider that I knowingly dealt with their assistant. You may be right???  Thanks for your post...

Most , if not all the ladies that have assistants are over my budgetary restrictions. I am pretty sure that I have never dealt with an assistant or agency. I am not fiscaly able to see the higher end providers. I feel that sometimes that is the reason for the higher rate. The assistant, costs for touring. High end hotels, professional photo shoots, drivers, agency fees,etc.  I guess I could hobby less and save up but have seen many top notch ladies in my range so, No.

Well, I guess for those posting "they don't see providers with assistants" I won't get to see you because I use a Assistant and am glad I do.  I could never keep up with the mountain of emails I receive much less all the text messages and phone calls.  

I can't speak for anyone else but tvlaw if you think independent providers don't have your information your wrong.  I recently saw a similar post on another forum regarding agencies with the same arguments you raised here.  

Another poster said it best.  If you don't want to talk to a Assistant don't see the Lady that chooses to use one.  I assure you that you do not know what your missing.

You have a very valid concern regarding assistants and LE.  Unfortunately the booker/helper/assistant is the very weakest link that LE manipulates.  They get charged with felonies (pandering, money laundering/criminal enterprise) for taking a few phone calls and answering emails.  Would you want your information in the hands of someone who is facing those kind of charges?

he Manager/Assistant is a risk, as ClubJeffe said. There is risk in this period. Keep in mind, any agency owner has your records AND they have inspections by LE from time to time (yes, if they are running an agency, they keep a log - THEY HAVE TO). You may think they don't, but they do. Any Assistant has your records. And the indy girls do too (by virtue of even the phone calls not being blocked, there is a log). DD had been inspected by LE a couple of months prior is my guess (and they can do that without a warrant since it is a registered business).  

Text can be pulled by LE. Is it proof? Calls can be pulled. Proving the act is tough. But for married guys or folks with something to lose, the humiliation in public is the issue - being associated with the events and people. Even if not charged or convicted. And there are your additional costs of lawyering up.

The more links in the chain the more drama and risk.

There are agencies who use the known screening services and still ask for personal information. Ever wonder why? You should. It means they are logging it. Like I said, they have to.

And all of this makes good TV, paper news - when there is not something significant like Tornados, making the news.

Sometimes you will see entire sets of girls disappear as happened a few weeks ago in another major city. Why? Because while stating they were independant, they all used the same "behind the scenes" assistant for various things. IP addresses (where you connect from) are all logged. So if one assistant is doing the work for many ladies, it is tracked and accessible. And sometimes, no matter how fast records get deleted, there is a cyber trail. It cools off over time - but there are retired girls pictures that you can still get from an advanced google.

The key to the internet is the longevity of its fingerprint. All of the facebook, twitter, site users - your stuff is in cyberspace FOREVER. Texts also. Keep that in mind.  

Be smart. Be safe. And know what you have to lose.  

TVLAW - you are not being a jerk. It is an uncomfortable conversation because it has an impact on the girls business - guys go limp when there is risk. Always keep the hobbyists safe. Some have not seen it all yet, and education is needed for good experiences.

The truth to assistants - typically they know a market and have hobbyist connections. And the girls do not want to do the work needed (administratively). Many ads, posts, texts, emails - the girls do not want to be bothered. And there are hybrids - where the girl answers her phone, and that's it. She does not write her posts, ads, etc. an "assistant" does. And maybe that person does some of the email support. When is an assistant an agency? When they have a company name. Don't even get me started on when an assistant is a pimp or an agency owner or a friend helping someone out of a bind or a ............. the lines get blurry.

But I have never seen anyone or done anything wrong. I live in a cave. Everything I say is a figment of my imagination............

No it certainly is not.  Search my post Mr.  You can easily see when I post vs my Assistant.  Only ads are posted by my Assistant.  Sorry to disappoint you.  In fact, I woud venture to say the Gentleman that I see don't have any issue with dealing with either Roxana or Alexander.

between an assistant -when its a person whom simply books your apts for you because you are that busy and or are not patient with the process. There ARE real assistant "normally woman" whom are either ex providers whom know the biz or ladies whom found them selves in the mix from one way or another and books etc . I find nothing wrong with this.  

THEN

there are men & agencies whom act as a manager or booking agent and take a LARGE percentage of a ladies cut ( not talking about"street pimps" ) and provide websites, pictures, web content and even the incall they work out of.  

Here is a bit of info for those of minds-  

If a few ladies ( and this happened in Vegas as of recent) pops up out of the blue and they have EVERY thing together .. website pictures ( often same style and same photog) and even often the same incall area or location .. and work together on doubles , never post online unless its an ad... Often they are "working" together from a higher power.. I mean hell, you don't think a girl just appears out of the blue knowing the ropes, and the in's and out's and how much to charge etc right out of the gate do you ? And this is NOT just 500 dollar girls..  

I am not giving names etc  just making a valid point to let the men know that there are REAL indi's out there and there are some whom are not . AND I support women who are real, honest, and not affiliated with the bull crap , because in the end it hurts the REAL girls business .

I think that people need to think constructively about this hobby. When you drive a car, you take the risk that you may end up in a serious accident. Similarly when you hobby, you take the risk that you'll be outed, catch an std, etc. You cannot eliminate these risks. You can only hope to reduce them. When you look at the number of busts regarding ter reviewed providers and agencies relative to the number of appointments that take place, the risk of getting caught/outed is quite low. It's even lower if you take the proper precautions to separate your hobby persona from your real persona.  

Also from the hobbyist perspective, the crime you could be charged with is not worth LE's time unless its around election time and politicians want to make a splash. They have to set up a sting and catch you in the act in order to successfully prosecute you for a misdemeanor that involves a tiny fine at best for a first time offender. Not enough bang for the buck.  

Ladies and agencies are running a business. A business can only be run effectively if they keep records. Ladies do this in order to optimize their time. So to think that indys keep no info on hand is naive IMO.

I tend not to patronize ladies who have assistants for basic reasons. An assistant means that the lady is either too dumb, busy, and/or lazy to conduct her own affairs. That type of person is someone that I don't want to spend time with. I tend not to patronize agencies because they're low hanging fruit for the Feds. Tax evasion and wire fraud are all easy crimes for the Feds to prosecute. And agencies are easy to find.

after reading that I believe I shall retract  my previous retraction and go back to my original point of view

I have to start by saying that I have a lot of respect for those ladies who find that they are capable of managing themselves independently. However, your comment about us girls who aren't being "too dumb, busy, and/or lazy really concerns me.  

It's been my experience that most of the powerful, successful, businessminded individuals today utilize the fine tuned skills of an assistant. Whether we're talking about a CEO or well for arguments sake let's say my manicurist. Both of these people are in high demand. They are simply unable to fulfull the commitments that they make and effectively manage their email and phone traffic. This cohesive team makes the experience for the client more enjoyable. To relate this back to our discussion I would think that the gentlemen who are attempting to schedule a visits receive faster response times and can/should expect that when it's their time for a little one on one there won't be any disruptions or disrespectful distractions because everything is seamlessly being managed by the rockstar gatekeeper/agency.  

Honestly I would not be able to work if I didn't have my team. They are the only reason I get to actually eat some days. Let alone sleep or enjoy some personal time. I am firm believer in a balanced work life and if I was running my own show I would have no time to myself.  

Additionally, having just entered this industry a few short months ago, if I hadn't been working with my Assistant I would not have known to ask for references, would certainly not have known about the benefits of TER and advertising, and I would not have had the opportunity to meet the wonderful men that I have had the opportunity to meet. The care with which I have been treated because of my supporting team makes this girl undeniably grateful to say that someone's got her back and I although I know that not every agency/assistant is reasonable about their take, I would have to say that I'm happy to support the incredible people that support me.
