I've been in the film business my whole life, and Victoria is absolutely right. American film studios are now run by lawyers and MBA's who's only interest is making money. It's all a formula now. Explosions, car chases, dramatic music, blah blah blah. More times than not, trailers are shot separately with the sole intention of drawing you into a theater. Talk about bait and switch. English films or Indie films are the best things around. Sorry for the rant, but it breaks my heart. Victoria, if you have the chance, see "Roadie".
Sorry for changing up the usual topics but I just saw a movie trailer for "Act of Valor" They use real Navy Seals in a script. They show off the real weapons and tactics. When that preview came on the usual Bullshit noice in the theater stopped immediately and afterwards everyone was remarking "cant wait" "that looks good". I saw Young adult thinking after seeing the trailer it was a comedy and every funny scene was in the trailer but the movie although interesting was nothing like I had expected it was dark and disturbing were I was looking for something light and funny same with War horse that movie left me sad and depressed but I did learn a lot about world war one and they way it was fought trench to trench it was heart wrenching cryed way too much would recommend going alone or waiting until DVD release. JMHO

since the 70,s I was so let down at a film in 2006 i haven't been back to a theater since. I wait for the DVD to watch it now so i don't waste time or the money that way if i dont like it i can just turn it off

Bailey, that is one of the funniest youtube clips I have ever seen. "for porn" I can see my dentist appt will be interesting cus when the pain comes..... all i have to thnk about is "for porn" and I will start to laugh. I bet you are a riot to spend time with for a day or weekend or week.
