this story was on the news tonight and is in the paper. According to the owner, the tree died and a friend came over to help take it down. He cut it down to what remained, an 8' ft stump but them carved the top into a penis.
Supposedly you can see it even though it's in the backyard as it is tall & he is next to a somewhat main street in the neighborhood.
The city has issued a citation and has to remove it by Wednesday. According to his interview on the news he plans on taking it down Sunday.
Soooooooooo, I am off to see it personally and take pictures tomorrow.
