In Response to Mystery Woman’s Great Post Below…
The only topical restrictions on a Regional Discussion Board are that the topic be generally relevant to the hobby.  Discussing how government is ruining the hobby is relevant.  Discussion how government is ruining America is best left for the Politics Board.  The only other “topic” criteria is that the topic discussed has some meaning on the local board.  For example if a post rants about high hobby prices in NY, well that might not be relevant here.  But if that same post ties in a concern that this could happen here too – then it is relevant.   And a tie goes to the poster.  I moderate a few boards that are nothing but ad boards….boring!  It is not good for the ad posters because there is low readership, not good for the guys because not much happens and for the moderator it is like watching grass grow in the winter.
