I believe Maricopa County offers free STD testing but it doesn't include a test for herpes. The clinic is located on Roosevelt I think. If any anyone has more accurate info please feel free to correct me.

The best deal and easy situation I found recently is called Theranos and its a clinic inside some but not all Wallgreens. They have a walk in lab with a menu and a full panel std test is $59. Results can come to an app on your phone. They do every kind of test from blood sugar , to std to hormones, etc. They say next day but average 2 days. All at a fraction of other labs. No dr order required. As well there is talent testing go online and order through them but it send to various labs such as any lab test now , but it is about $205 but acceptable industry standard format for film. They guarantee next day if you there before 3pm.
Theranos is good, but before you go Google for information on a current situation where the validity of their tests are being questioned. Hope they get it figured out because I would hate to lose this resource.
Good tip, maxwell44. I went there the other day. It was quick, easy, and inexpensive. Although you have to present ID, they promise anonymity, and I feel comfortable they will. I filled out minimal details on their form, went to a waiting room where they quickly called my number. I went to another room, and a nurse (?) drew some blood, and gave me a sample vial to pee in. The clinic sent a link to their portal, ti the email address I provided, and I will receive my results by going to the portal. Pretty easy. Thanks maxwell44

State of CA has issues with Theranos, but not yet in AZ. Price-wise, it can't be beat. Locations are nearby. I've been seriously thinking about them for the price vs. a $200+ test & draw fees for the place you're talking about
I can free testing for everything $0 at CIGNA plus they have locations open until midnight.
