I fully agree Avia... we should be more supportive of one another, now more than ever. But in the last couple months, I have found that ladies have become more reluctant than ever to cooperate... even ladies that I always viewed as reference-friendly before TSHTF. I don't traditionally screen anymore and rely on credible references and P411 only (got tired of researching men who didn't exist... now I don't worry about alias usage). How can we improve our networking empathy and eliminate the apathy?
Also agreed... the issue of reviews. Previously in this TER community where everyone either knew of me or could check out my rapport, that worked for me. But now, forced onto social media sites, no one knows who I am and there's nowhere to check my credentials really. No one on Twitter for example, trusts me enough to supply their screening info, and while I'm glad to see the guys doing their homework as I've always encouraged, school is out for summer in my territory. What can we do about this?
And why do/did reviews need to be so damn explicit??? That's part of what ruined it for us IMO (the other part was the ridiculously explicit ads on certain websites... don't anyone take offense please... I'm no angel myself). I thought the whole purpose of TER in its pioneering days, was to inform hobbyists of a girl's legitimacy. When did it all become an entertainment excerpt of a porn novel, exploiting a lady's private moments in poorly written perception, and exponentially alerting LE? Why can't it just be: "yeah, she was lovely, her location easy to find, offering all amenities in a comfortable... was on time, picture accurate, no upsell, worth the rate", bla bla bla... still answering the questions. Then we could put the normal, tasteful reviews on Yelp and Yellow Pages. BTW, I've advertised on YP for years now.
