HOW to PREVENT this from happening

Buddy of mine had this happen to him , by a traveling Provider from Las Vegas.

..The Vegas providers come down to phoenix and set up in the high class Scottsdale Hotels preying on the businessman and locals: it goes like this: first they bait them in with a low cost price say $100 for the  half hour on the phone....They DONT state the services they provide on the phone- because they say they dont discuss THAT on the phone.illegal--.yadayada. Then when the  man gets in the room, she asks him to strip down for an LE check and lay on the opposite bed to where she is sitting......She then asks for the donation be set on dresser accross room "that we agreed on the Phone".... and HE  sets donation on dresser.. She then takes the envelope and  locks the donation up in the safe in the closet and then asks him to turn over lay on his stomach-climbs on top of him and starts off with a massage- then after 5 minutes asks"Sooooooo....what are WE LOOKING for tonight, honey?" ..Then the man says "just what I finished PAYING you for, Full service, for 30 min, of course"...
The vegas girl goes BALLISTIC!!!....and says"Oh NO! honey! $100 just covers 20 min massage ONLY!!!...If you want THAT, I need another $350!!..So now the man is fuming..She tries to ease him down by saying" honey, your soooooooo  lucky this is phoenix. If this were Las vegas I would be charging 6-$700..."Her saying this does NOT make this situation better..The man is still fuming and now he has a choice- pay her the non-negotiable $350 or get the hell out of there knowing he just got RIPPED OFF for $100 ...As he starts to get off the bed and get dressed she says "baby, My last offer is that I can do it for  30 min for just another $250 instead of 350..By this time the man is so disgusted he leaves.....And thats called " Vegas UPSELL the customer or Vegas RIP OFF the customer.."

My question is HOW do US Hobbiests PREVENT getting in this TRAP????

I agree what clubjeffe said, 100%, and I'll expound upon it:
Why read TER reveiws if you're not going to use the information you're reading?
Even if a woman is not a  rip-off, but one with lousy reviews (4s and 5s, like #199228), or 5s and 6s (like #191860), why see her?  I never get it when I read a review from a guy who gives someone a 5 or 6 and is disappointed, when I check out her other reviews and there's just a bunch of 5s and 6s.
Bottom-line is use the information that's easy to find, here and elsewhere and at least give yourself a chance to have a legit time and not get disappointed, or worse, ripped-off.

I'm sorry but if a guy is dumb enough to think that a provider set up in a high class Scottsdale hotel is only charging $100 for 30 min, then falls for the "LE check" and massage in the beginning. Well he's  begging to get the run around upsell, bullshit drama that proceeds in this industry.
So it's safe to say she was hot and he was thinking with his dick, think with your brain and see the giant red flags then you won't fall in the trap, schemes like this will always be around.

As for reviews.... even a well reviewed lady traveling or local can pull a scheme like that, it's the luck of the draw when you see someone for the first time.

I'm always LEARY when I see ads of touring ladies using 702 ac cell phones, especially if they have NO reviews.  No offense to touring legit providers with  702 ac cell phones

I agree.  You "get what you pay for" so don't look for the lowest price on BP and expect anything other than what happened.  This should only happen ONCE to anyone.  If you are in this game, look for reputable providers with "reasonable" charges and good reviews.  You are lucky that this didn't turn out to be something much worse......trust me, stranger (and worse)things have happened many times before!

Yes - you are RIGHT- WORSE things CAN happen when a person uses UNKNOWN/UN-REVIEWED providers out there....speaking of which: If any one sees this ad on BP: dont fall for HER TRAP- she wants U to
give her a $300 MoneyPak BEFORE the day of the appointment!!!...But she offers no solution if she doesnt KEEP her end of the bargain..She even offers no contact phone #....what a SCAM...Here's my question; HOW MANY VICTIMS has she stole $300 from???

It's like spam. Have you ever wondered why someone would bother to send out those obviously fake emails asking you to send them money? It only takes a very small percentage to make it wothwhile.

That phrase "stick with the well reviewed ladies" is sounding like an overplayed pop song on the radio. Due to the fact that men will post a review to earn VIP points even though he hasn't seen the lady and she will keep the review up to keep her business booming, so she's now listed as a well reviewed lady..........it's a scam as well.

Again overplayed pop song about the so called garbage on bp, Everyone got there start there or cl back in the days, before all these other sites even existed. I met some fabulous gentlemen from bp 3 yrs ago when I started that I still now and forever will have a wonderful friendship with. There's garbage people, scams and traps for both parties on every site out there, just use common sense.

This is becoming a doomsday forum, maybe the heat is kicking our asses, but it's time to bring back topics and pics of tits, asses and wangs and fun dirty talk

Everybody has to start some where they don’t just POP up here on TER.

BUT you got to do your home work and a lot of research when you’re seeing some one new without any reviews.

Check her pictures on Tin Eye and Google her name and #. It’ll help.

With today’s economy there’s and lot of people trying make a quick buck.

Just be careful out there and play with the good ones.

I agree. If an ad has a Las Vegas area code, I skip it. Even if they aren't ripoffs, they tend to charge a lot more than they are worth or can deliver.

You're right that everyone has to get their start somewhere. I've seen a few girls from BP or CL in the past, and have been very satisfied with my choices. You just have to be careful and screen them as much as possible. Usually if something sounds too good to be true, it probably is. If I call a girl and she can barely carry on a conversation, I pass. If I call and she sounds spaced out on drugs, I pass. It all comes down to common sense and gut feeling.

Definitely, I agree with you. Although there may be some fake reviews,"some" is the keyword. I don't see a provider who has only been reviewed once. Also back when i was stupid and allowed myself to get ripped off, it was always providers with no reviews whatsoever. They're running a racket, their objective is to keep travelling and catch the stupid people (like myself at the time) they DO NOT BOTHER tryna deceive the experienced hobbyists, there's too many easy dollars to be made on the inexperienced idiots who are thinking with their little head. The same inexperienced idiots who don't know to post a review, this way the lying cheats are able to operate for a longer period of time. Once they've fooled every idiot, they move on.

Also i was wondering if anybody knows how u can quickly warn other hobbyists of danger or a ripoff provider. Posting a review on here takes time for approval meanwhile the provider keeps ripping off others. I guess i could post on b.p. (it might cost a buck) would b.p. just remove it? Or do y'all got any other suggestions?
