I get it, ladies want to be safe and safety indeed should be #1. But gentlemen, please be safe also and protect yourselves. Just saw an ad that states our TER ID and references are not enough, Full legal name, employment, website, phone #, etc are needed. HELL NO. I don't see ladies giving me her full legal name, address, etc. STOP THE MADNESS. I can be verified by good 10-20 upstanding ladies in the industry. If you want p411 verification, I can get you that also. But if I haven't met you and gotten to know you, why would I risk that. I rather put my social security # and my bank acct info on the internet. There's got be more sensible way to do this.  

Gentlemen, please grow a pair and stop agreeing to these invasive requirements. If we don't agree to it, ladies will drop the requirement. Supply and demand.

Anyone can claim to be our handle in an email to a provider.  If they are not VIP, they can't get a PM to confirm it's really us sending the request for their time.  So then the provider calls the refs and says, have you seen ki.wan?  Providers all say he's wonderful, etc.  She says OK, and next thing here comes Sheriff Joke and his tank to take her down because some bozo with a Glock emails her claiming to be a handle he pulled off the board and pressures her to take it without a third party verification.  
 
Did the ad state P411 or Date Check is ok with references?  I'd have a hard time believing that wouldn't be acceptable.  Never been a problem at all providing my DCID and refs up front.

I have no issues with giving p411, date-check, 3plus references...... What I have problem with is ladies who want my full name, DL #, verification of where I work, etc. Just like ladies don't want psycho dudes or LE's, I also don't want psycho lady blackmailing me or extorting me.......

STOP giving these ladies $$$ and we won't have these problems

Hell, you're going to be leaving DNA sample anyway, but at the end of the day, it's still their choice to do all that and our choice to say NO.

It is not in your best interest or your providers to build a record. Hard Drives are the key as well as a third party's statement that you communicate with to set up your arrangement. Duh!, this year is going to have LE working actively to justify their existence. The super bowl always attracts a myriad of shakers and hustlers that want to generate some cash infusion. I  Think hobbyist as well as our local ladies that, we all value so highly, Be cautious and protect number one so you don't step in number two. Happy Times!!

There are many reasons why some of us insist on verifiable info besides references and verification site memberships. Just to name a few:

1. Guys share accounts. While not a supper common form of deception, it does happen with enough frequency that we need to make sure that the guy we're communicating with online is the guy we'll be opening the door to.  

2. If someone decides to harm me, I have no qualms about reporting it to the proper authorities. Am I supposed to tell the cops that it was "JoeSchmoe69?" Not very helpful info.  

3. They don't list TER handles on the Sex Offenser Registry.  

4. While references are great, there are countless instances of guys behaving with a few ladies, then doing something reprehensible to the next one. Even if he's blacklisted for that offense, he can easily change his "hobby identity" and continue to harm providers. It happens all the time.  

5. How else am I supposed to know that Joe-00-X-0000 isn't someone I know in my personal life? I need to be certain that I'm not going to be opening the door to a friend of my brother's, a colleague of my dad's, or one of my professors.  

 
You get the idea. That said, there are literally thousands of girls who have much less stringent screening requirements. If you don't want to cough up the info, just move on. I'll tell you right now, though, your little boycott idea won't work. I get told quite frequently that guys chose me BECAUSE I'm so cautious. Those of us with strict screening requirements aren't going to cave to that kind of pressure. Again, there's an easy solution to your problem: see ladies who require no more info than you're willing to provide.

I was informed about this thread so I thought I would drop by and read it.  I was surprised that there are no responses from any ladies? Well, I don't work in your state but I'll weigh in anyway.

First. It's pretty simple really if you are not comfortable sharing the amount of information being asked for then you can simply move on to another provider.  No need to be angry or bash the provider in question.  It is her business and her decision to decide how she screens her clients - period.  It is not for YOU to decide.

Second.  As far as asking the ladies for their personal information we all know that is just silly.  But I'll tell you what.  When law enforcement decide to target you gentlemen (and I do NOT mean a few sporadic reverse stings), when some of you gentlemen are actually being robbed, beaten and found DEAD, well then would be a good time for "that" conversation.

How do you feel about DC or P411?   Since my DC verification requested a four digit series found on my DL, you could look at it and confirm the sequence.  

BTW, I'm a solid believer in proper verification and safety, but as was mentioned above, asking for a full DL # seems a bit excessive.

I agree that a DL# seems a little pointless (I don't even know how that would help with verification), and I also don't see the need for an address. That said, there could be verification processes that I'm not aware of that may require such info. I'm just not familiar with any.  

As for DC and P411, they're great for expediting the reference process, but I would never accept it as a sole means of screening. They've both been infiltrated by LE and other undesirables, so their value to me is minimal.

With a little on-line leg work, it's amazing what you can find about anyone.

I'd also like to add that sometimes the references gents provide are just simply bad references. They don't answer emails/phone calls, aren't reference friendly and/or don't remember seeing the gent. It happens all the time.  

When this happens, I do go back and ask for more information. DL #'s...no, but a full name, phone number and birth date suffice for me. Seriously, what am I going to do with that information? If you are seriously worried about exploitation, then my friend, you need to do more research on your end.

Lastly, are you guys saying that it's cool to force a lady to do something she isn't comfortable with because it benefits you? Please, no need to boycott! Move on and stop bitching.

I didn't re-read every post but I don't think there was any bashing going on. Just us guy's(your potential clients)giving our opinions and I agree just move on if you don't want to provide requested info. That is certainly what I do.

Let me ask you. In this state it is quite easy to set up a false identity. Look at all the illegals that pass e-verify and work every day. It certainly would not be hard for someone to set up a hobby identity just like we have hobby phones. I would never do it because I respect the peeps that work for me, but I have full access to names, addresses, SS#'s. DL#'s of my employees. I have some very upstanding peeps that work for me. I could easily send you their info and completely side steps any verification process you might have and that makes it worthless.

I think in many ways your "verification" process just provides a false sense of security. Too each their own!

Because in some places this business is very cutthroat.  Agencies and unscrupulous people hurt other providers, " their competition" for discounts at agencies, free sessions, yes folks monetary kickbacks, and just more business.  It is the only thing that can protect a person from it.

Is a good reference, so they shouldn't ask for more than that.  The owner runs a tight ship.
