the board owners for whatever misguided reasons have seen fit to allow the convention of aliases to be used for posting. it is not a right its a simple issue of choice and computer programming.
what the people running the boards have forgotten or perhaps never learned is that most people are morons and self serving idiots. if you give them the modicum of privacy an alias provides they will abuse it.
a handle should be all that is needed for posting purposes. i dont see any handles that wouldnt be considered an alais by those more charitable in use at any rate. i dont sign my more mundane communications Moebius8 after all.....
