when did it become okay for a hobbiest to have more than handle that sucks and seem s very unfair it was not that way back when I was here in 2007 and what is the point? Why would a hobbiest change his handle unless maybe he had been blacklisted ?????
Kudos go out to all the ladies who have the integrity and honor to have a fake review removed even when the score is a good one and might help their overall scores. (We all know that not really what this site is all about). You have my total respect. This site may be geared more towards the hobbyist to help help us find ladies who we may be more compatible with, and protects us from ROBS. I feel like TER must be for all of us who Hobby or provide and must protect both sides. Without some sort of integrity what good is this site to any of us. Without accountability the reviews of the ladies and any White-lists are BS.
So my thought is why doesn't TER have some sort of request approval like P-411 and Date-Check have? One where the provider gets to answer whether or not she has seen the gentlemen who has submitted the review. She would not get to see any part of the review until it was posted, but just be able to say "Yes I remember having a session with John Doe" Then and only then does the review get posted and of course she has to live with the score just like she would if review the review were legit in the current method. Then allow the free days for the post if it is confirmed by the lady.
I know it has been said before, but yes take away the incentive these fucking pukes have for writing fake reviews. No more free time for post, problem reports and the like. If your too cheap to pay for VIP like so many of us do. I am sure you ladies discuss these jerks on the PO board but there need to be a better way to hold TER and these guys accountable for the fakes reviews.
But TER should be listening to its members you can go to almost any local board and see this brought up yet few have any solutions ....YOU DO ! I hope they hear you loud and clear
Your right it is hard for them to change. I'm not sure what I came up with is "The Solution" it's just an idea and it does have a big hole in it. It doesn't stop the provider who is having fake reviews written for her. It is pretty easy for her to have them write the review and then just OK it for her own benefit. That is a big problem because then the gentlemen who read the review are going to think it is legit. Not sure how to fix that one yet. It does put the ladies on the spot also. Your going to have to live with a low score or poor review. No more of this "I never saw this guy the review is fake" when the lady gets a poor review or low score. Might be a good thing too. I know you ladies work hard to make every date the best it can be, but now they will know they can't slack off. Plus what's to stop a lady who knows the session she had with John Doe was not a good one and she may get a poor review deny she saw the guy to keep it off the review board.
So yes it's a start to finding a solution to the fake review problem. This is the place to find it. More discussion with ideas from people who are a lot smarter then me can surely come up with something that works and keep us all safer. After all when you have a feeling of security it's easier to relax and make for a for better time in this hobby. A little piece of mind that we're safe will go a long way. I really do love ALL you ladies who are here doing what you do. There just needs to be some accountability.
And also "If your too cheap to pay for VIP"….give me a break! do you even have a clue?
If it were not for the reviewer taking a chance, sometimes running in to ripoffs, spending their hard earned money, writing and contributing the review this board would not exist!!
Maybe they should start pulling reviews on the blind shills that give 10's out like it's candy in a parade! 10= one in a lifetime. Some of these guys have more lifetimes then a dozen cats!!
I always look to see how someone grades others and if I see all 9's & 10's I know he is either blind or is not dealing with reality and I blow off any credibility.
Yes, the provider should be able to review the review. If she doesn't like it she just says she never saw the guy and it gets pulled. If it's a gleaming 10,10 she gives the ok to keep it.
I guess the line below covers it all anyway.
"15. We consider all reviews to be fictional stories that are posted by TER solely for entertainment purposes."
So why the complaining? On with the fairy tails.
What is the #1 reason fake reviews are written? A: Free time on this board. What good is it to the lady to have someone post about a bunch of services "They" were offered from someone who had NEVER offered that to ANYONE ever before? Yes these reviews are considered "Fictional" but they do REAL damage when they are lies. We are not talking about those brave souls who TOFTT spending their hard earned cash to find out what a new provider is like to help others out. We are talking about those who never see the lady in question but write a review for what? Their benefit. Maybe they are writing one out of spite because they couldn't book time with her or she turned them down. Heard that one before on these board too. There has to be accountability on both sides. Not sure ladies should be able to review the review. That's a whole different argument. But they should be able to at least say yes I saw this client or no never saw him, and yes ladies are going to have to live with the fact that if they did confirm the date then they have to live with the fact that it may be a poor review of that night. That's being held accountable for the sessions they provide to the client.
If I am correct a reviewer has to write 2 reviews for free time.....Ter is a bargain already to have VIP so maybe if that is the number one reason why not do away with the free time altogether most of the guys I see already pay for VIP so there is really no incentive for them to write reviews anyway some like to review others never review
Let's not kid ourselves here. With regard to your "brave souls who TOFTT spending their hard earned cash to find out what a new provider is like to help others out." To help others out? How altruistic -- not! Sorry, but I don't believe anyone does that to help out anyone but themselves, which of course is fine. They are simply too curious or aroused by an unreviewed provider's ad to wait for someone else's review. It is purely incidental that they are TOFTT! Let's not make them some kind of hero as a reward for what in my opinion is simply riskier behavior entered into in the hope of having an experience that the little head is telling the big head can't wait!
It seems driller is the only one who has grasped the problem with fraud reviews. The message I was conveying through my rant post was that something needs to be done about men who review girls WHO THEY HAVE NEVER SEEN BEFORE!!!!
Men who will graze reviews of a lady pull some information and create a false review of her, hoping that she doesn't notice or care and he earns his points.
I totally agree. The lady should be given the opportunity to review the post. At the very least she should be able to comment when it's posted. Fake reviews are bad for everybody
I like the system just as it is, you can read through the BS on both sides.
For as long as there is a system, and for as long as the system provides financial gain for either or both parties, there will be abuse.
Dont get me wrong, there will always be both companions and clients that value the honesty of the system. As we are often reminded, TER is a guys board. Its for the benefit of the guys to share and keep each other aware. And of course it hopefully provides a medium of safety. Very few well seasoned companions rely on TER as their sole source of screening, but it does help. But as a well rounded tool for companions it is certainly not built as such. Alias reviews are one example of why. Its a guys board, simple.
That being said many providers abuse the system, just as many clients abuse the system. The urban legends of providers demanding high scores in order to see them. The claims of fake reviews both good and bad. The bait and switch, the old photos, the list goes on. There is more than enough blame in both courts. Honestly the 1-10 grading system is highly individual.
Changing the VIP status would in all probability make a change, but I seriously doubt it will change enough. Whenever there is a system people will find a way to get around it. Its human nature.
I think the idea is to learn the system. Learn how to read between the lines. Do your research, both provider and client. The system is flawed, but its not that difficult to see around most. A dishonest provider not reporting a high score, fake review is no different than a dishonest client writing one to get VIP days. In light of the fact that I doubt TER will change much, do what you normally do, research.
Just an opinion
Yes, providers should dispute a review if it describes aspects she knows don't happen in her sessions. But since hobbyists assumedly don't always reveal their TER handle to providers and may only be known to them by a more conventional (real or fictional) name, the greater problem of phony reviews can't be addressed. That greater problem, I would bet, is guys who read a bunch of prior reviews and then write a new one which takes enough from each to be consistent with the prior write-ups and assumedly with the provider's typical session so that it doesn't stand out. I have discussed prior reviews with providers (typically in post-session conversation, before leaving) and heard from a couple of them who follow what's posted on TER that this review or that one was fake. However, in reading most or all of them before seeing her, none of them including the ones then so labelled by her had jumped out at me. Not even sure how the provider would have known, unless she was not working in the timeframe the review came out. That's not even necessarily a sure sign, since reviews can be posted up to sixty days after the experience, and that rule can be bent by mis-stating what month the experience happened. I always write up mine within 24 hours while details are well remembered. Can't imagine anyone writing an accurate review weeks or more later. Maybe TER should require that reviews be written within perhaps a week, even if just to insure accuracy.
So yes, the ladies can flag a review which they know doesn't at all describe any one of their sessions, but that's probably about all that can be done. I can't think of any way to block an unscrupulous hobbyist (or maybe even someone who never hobbies but just gets off hanging out on TER and pretending to be a hobbyist!) from penning phony reviews that don't stand out from those already written, in order to get free VIP days and maybe entertain himself by adding more "fiction" to the website. I suspect there are some sick puppies out there who do that.
You bring out many of the things I meant when I said "Logistics".
Could you imagine TER calling the provider and asking if she saw "TER handle" yesterday?
Who?
The whole idea is a logistic impossibility.
We all know the question isn't...What do we do with a fake review? You do what you can to get prove it is fake and remove it. The question is HOW do we PREVENT the fakes from getting posted in the first place? I threw an idea out there that I knew had holes in it. I didn't say it was the answer just an idea. From what I have seen everyone seems to know what we can't do or are unwilling to do.
So what now? Do we just do nothing and let it keep happening? Or do we have a civil discussion and try to come up with some sort of solution. Reagan is also right in the fact that even if there is a new way of confirming reviews there will be people who find a way to cheat it. Brew is right that it is hard to confirm when someone uses a different name for TER then they do when they see a lady, and want their handle to to stay a secret. I am not sure what the answer is but discussing it doesn't hurt one bit, and maybe just maybe enough people will get their heads together and come up with something.
when did it become okay for a hobbiest to have more than handle that sucks and seem s very unfair it was not that way back when I was here in 2007 and what is the point? Why would a hobbiest change his handle unless maybe he had been blacklisted ?????
I have no idea who you are since you have only been posting for the last 24 hours (under an alias I'm sure), however thats fine.
It is what it is and you learn to live with it. No big deal!
Why rock the boat?
Connect the dots and it works out fine.

there will always be those ladies who offer "free sessions" or "discounts" for a higher or a fake review.
Pretty sad state of affairs when that's becoming such a common practice. Makes you wonder what ever happened to integrity.
"Change The System" is usually a concept for people who have power of influence.TER is a business, not a government, and we can't vote.
I'm not starting a conversation or debate about how much influence we have as the customers of TER, but this is not BofA with their new fees for Debit Card. We have little say in TER's operational methods.
I'm not saying this to be a killjoy or to be negative. I'm just being pragmatic. Ideas about what would be better are nice and all, but TER is not going to change. I think there is a more useful discussion, which is:
How can we deal with fakes outside of the limited recourse through TER.![]()
HH
look what happened to BofA the people spoke and they backed down.....TER can change and smart people are in charge and believe me they are listening to us they want this to work too...so any ideas I am sure are welcome so far there have been some great debates going on ideas its not perfect but we as consumers and players need to support TER just by policeing our own board really does help keep the fakes at bay.
It's just my opinion, based on the scope of TER, and what I know of it's history, and how it operates, and what percentage of it's user's take up this cause. I don't think it will happen.
But I HOPE IT DOES!!!
I'll PM about this too.![]()
HH
keep the faith HH TER has grown up too I have seen the changes since I was gone in 2007 back then it was a war zone here now look around you everyone is try their best to figure out how to fix this problem even TER wants us to be safe and happy and of course buy those VIPS LOL
Look we have started a discussion. If people sit back and do nothing or say nothing then NOTHING will happen. I am not saying anything will come of it, but silence is the death of any idea.
see why we need you here? look at this reponse you know the guys upstairs are paying attention SOMETHING will happen it has too
