LOL im black so i barely even look at BP for that reason. Ironically, when i did, I saw several girls who had no aa in their ads. I was honest with them and had some references so it worked out ok for me.  

If i was white and got busted from an ad that said "no blacks" i'd definitely hire the best lawyer i could afford and fight it! That's straight up BS

2-3 providers on backpage have been asking for face pics.

Seems to be in line with a prior warning by an attorney that the government is logging backpage numbers of hobbyists who call providers:

Its an ad for a lawyer..They can do/say anything to try and get business. It doesn't mean its true. I wouldn't doubt it but most likely just a lawyer shill.

I did notice people on BP asking for face pics..Good luck with that one. I'm glad some try and verify people but me sending my drivers license somewhere, real name and place of employment...please..

It is a resource............and sometimes good entertainment.   Over the months past, I am confident that  a good number of providers who appear on the TER review pages, advertise on BP.  I recall one provider with 200+ reviews had an advertisement.  All providers need to be cross referenced with reviews, as I do on TER as well as other boards.   I grant you that there are a lot of sketchy advertisements on BP, but I have met several ladies who I have regularly seen over the years.  Cheers
