how long it takes a new paying member to get unmoderated also when they a newbie summits a first review and it comes back deffered what does that mean please?
There is no specific timeframe for becoming unmoderated...it generally takes you enough time to establish a presence on the board so a mod trusts you. As for deferred reviews, it means that the review is being held as the reviewer is too new. It was my understanding that they may need another review of a more established lady.
I have had several reviews deffered or declined, usually because the ad I linked to keeps changing, ie the lady changed her ad. Or my score wasn't in line with what the site said it should be. I just let it go, the first couple of times I tried to fix it, but now I submit once and if they say no I say screw it and move on. I know some people might not like that attitude, but I am not going to spend a lot of time writing reviews for a website that I paid to be on.
There is no rule or automation on this. Also, VIP status (paid vs unpaid) is not a factor. What factors is contribution to the board a civility. Normally, if a poster is not a train wrecker or flamed, a request to the moderator will normally get one unmoderated.
As to reviews and review status .... That is not the domain of Admin... Not Mod
mine happended when a Moderator noticed my posts on several boards. he asked why I wasn't Unmoderated. I said "I don't know" He replied "now you are" and that was it.
it's tricky though - there is no time between "click" and "post" and I've had to scramble to have things removed or edited a couple of times - with great power comes great responsibility.
