Everyone have a wonderful and safe Memorial Weekend! Don't forget to think of and thank those that have served in our military and given the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms!

Memorial Day is not to be confused with Veterans Day; Memorial Day is a day of remembering the men and women who died while serving, while Veterans Day celebrates the service of all U.S. military veterans, living or dead.

While many of those who have served don't care what the difference of the two Holidays are... I am one retired ARMY Soldier who does. Nothing torques me more, when I ask people what the difference is and they do not have a clue what it is. Fortunately for everyone, the BBQ, I am attending is only for former service or retired, you will know by the cannon fire at the top of the hour from noon to 6pm!!!
