Okay, I'm a very patient person, but if I give you specific directions to my place and the attachement (for some reason) doesn't come through, don't wait until 5 p.m. (the designated time to meet me) to email me because you're not bright enough to go to TER -- where you found me to begin with -- to find my phone number (which I already gave you).

No offense, but I have a set schedule and your being an hour late does not cut it when you've already stretched the boundaries and I've taken sooooooo long to verify you. Plus, I wouldn't have even known this guy was at some store waiting to hear from me if I hadn't gone to my email account to check to see why he was so late. I would have never heard from this guy.

This is not to be mean, but I needed to post this so other people will be more organized and hopefully not let this happen to someone else who takes their time seriously. I have something I have to do later tonight (a family thing), so don't say to me when you've already booked two hours, "Oh, well maybe I should only do one hour then since I am already so late."  Honey, this is a business. If you book two hours, then abide by it, please.

Now, most of you know my sense of humor, so don't blast me if you're new to this board. I am, however, giving it straight up for newbies or anyone who takes this business seriously. I am not sitting at home all day, with makeup already on, waiting with my legs spread apart for the next client. I set specific times, go into detail about the experience you will have with me and give great directions (nothing left to the imagination). If you don't get something from me by email three days in advance with my written correspondence telling you, "Please email me ASAP if the attachment doesn't come through," don't you think you should email me right away or call me so you can find me?

Geez! Any brain surgeons out there!  Too funny, but annoying! Luckily, I have already joked with him on the phone to make sure he doesn't get lost. I told him to prepare for his private flogging.

Hugs,
Ciara

You seem to be having a number of difficulties with your clients. There was "excessive details", and now "forgot phone number".

Maybe you should list this slogan on your site: "Your brain - don't go visit Ciara withut it."

I can completely understand your post!  I hate to waste time, and I hate to have my time wasted.  There seems to be a rash of it going around, and it's catching...

I've had several providers now "need a few extra minutes" that turns into a half-hour or more.

Respect is a two way street.  I'm only posting this here, because some of the most reliable, who read this board, have recently become... loose with time.

There are several in the community who should know that last minute or 11th hour planning is best handled by phone rather than e-mail. Not everyone in the community has the option to sit on their ass in their office watching their monitor.

I know the feeling, hobbyists' time is valuable also.  I hate it when you have a set time in your mind and the girl keeps you on the hook for another hour and then doesn't stay any longer or give a discount.  You can't cancel and call another because she won't answer the phone and if you call a new provider you can probably add 1-2 hours again....by that time I have usually lost the urge...maybe a guy should just cancel when the provider is late.  Leave your home or hotel room and spend the money trying to get laid for the price of drinks with a regualar woman?

Oh, so true. I wouldn't have seen his message but he was already 20 minutes late, so I checked my emails. Bingo!  So that means it took him another 40 minutes to find out where I was.

Sorry that you had to go through that.

The problem is that this business is like any other business where you have appointments and most of the time it works out fine.

However, there are occasions that this will happen in any business. It is a good idea to treat it as cost of doing business and move on unless the percentage of such incidents borders on high.

Happy holidays!

...about anything, it would seem. Take a deep breath and chill. Things don't always go as planned. That's life.

But you need to be prepared for all eventualities....

1) Have the phone number in case you are running late, and call the lady to let her know.

2) Know where you are going, and make sure you have extra time for traffic issues.

3) Have the correct donation.

4) Have a condom or two in your pocket just in case.

5) If the lady has a website, read all of the information posted, and follow any instructions she may have.

A little work up front will go along way to making the date a great time....

That's what this board is for. To keep people informed. When people are that unprofessional of someone else's time then it's good to put out a reminder every now and again so people start thinking with their big heads. :)  Just read and move on if you don't like it, hon.

Our appointment was for a certain time. I finally checked my emails when he was 20 minutes late. I called him. Luckily, I still had his number. I had already emailed him three days prior with my address, phone number and what not to do when you approach my home, etc. When I called him, he said, "I didn't have your number or your address. I'm sitting at Kinko's." I responded, "What! I've been waiting here and then I get this email asking me where I'm located? I sent you an email with directions, everything. I also stated in the email that if you didn't get the directions please notify me. Anyway, it was pretty funny, but we worked it out. I would never give his name out. I liked him and he's forgiven, but I thought it was too inane not to share. He agreed. :)

Ciara
